A Relationship Goes Through A lot In @SarkAmbassador & @MissRheaDawn’s “Toxic” Video

A couple months ago, Trini Artist Sarkastik Ambassador and Bajan star Rhea Layne gave us a demo of a track they were working on called, “Toxic“. It tackled some of the issues that affect relationships, and many people could relate to the song. Fast forward to the present day, we’re proud to show you the music video for the officially released track.

Directed by Sarkastik Ambassador and starring Nicholas C. Subero and Ruby Parris (related to Paul Parris of The Parris Agency who manages Jus D?), “Toxic” is brought to life showcasing an estranged couple who struggle through moments of tension, restriction, passion and emotional intimacy in just one day of quarantining together. Many relationships have taken a dive in recent months, and the pandemic hasn’t been making things easier for some of us mentally. When this couple isn’t distancing themselves from each other, they’re arguing, but in the end they find themselves getting closer. Hang in there guys, it’s rough out there, and seek help when you can.

Today we take a trip to Trinidad and Tobago to check out an Artist who has been doing her thing for quite some time, the lovely Annalie Prime. She has been steadily rising thanks to some great music, and with the release of her 2020 debut album, “I Think Too Much“, she looks to be a prominent fixture everywhere. Keeping the momentum going, she recently unveiled the new single and video, “Set Your Sight“.

Featuring production by No6le Touch, Annalie Prime gives us a love song that promises to be a go to for many couples, and we believe we’ll look back it years later to give it a “classic” stamp. Accompanying the single, is a music video directed by Sir Ian Davis and the Dawgs Dem collective, and shot at the Ortinola Cocoa Estate on Acono Rd., Trinidad and Tobago. With soft vocals that will calm even the most stressed out person, and wake the world, Annalie Prime is setting her own sights to dominating her lane, and solidifying herself as a young legend. Toronto’s heavy hitter DJ Blkluos is working hard to give the world new continue. Still keeping Heartbreak Quotey’s name alive, he has a lot more in the tank to deliver. One of his latest releases is the visual for his 2020 single, “Changes“.

The video finds DJ Blkluos getting into some bars as he makes various observations, and shares his thoughts over some dark Trap production provided by JXYMEFROMTHENINE. “Changes” was released as a part of a 3 pack in 2020 that included “I Thought About It“, and “Dead People“. The Sister Nancy Sampled “Baila Conmigo” Single Gets Featured In New @Instagram Campaign!

They say Dancehall caan stall, and it continues to seep into Pop Culture, and many other avenues. In 2020, the legendary Sister Nancy’s classic “Bam Bam” was sampled in DJ Yellow Claw’s hit single “Baila Conmigo” featuring Saweetie, INNA, and Jenn Morel, and today it got featured in Social Media platform Instagram’s latest campaign!

Doing their part in providing informative content during the Covid 19 Pandemic, Instagram’s latest campaign, the Sister Nancy sampled “Baila Conmigo” by Yellow Claw was used as the campaign’s soundtrack. The animated visual also featured a dancer sporting clothes which represented Jamaica’s flag colours of Black, Gold, and Green. Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” was released in 1982, and is considered one of the most sampled Jamaican songs in music history. .@KxngIzem Delivers “Wildfire” With New EP

Kxng Izem has been grinding and building his brand for quite some time. Having celebrated a “Dubby’s” win and gaining much attention through his recent singles, he looks to take his Ten24 Music label to a different level. He looks to make that happen and more with his much anticipated project, the “Wildfire EP”.

Consisting of 8 tracks, Kxng Izem shows much growth on this project, and tests out new sounds and flows here. With production from his Ten24 Music, he also taps into Kabu Beats, Harry Hunt, and Rory De Boer to give listeners future classics, and feel good vibes that take us away from the problems of the world. Ragz To Richez Production Aims To Become The Next Hit Factory

Jamaican Record Label Ragz To Richez Production is a young label on the rise, but has managed to connect with some of the best in the game already. Founded in 2016 by Manchester born Vannesa “Halie” Dixon, the label has provided unique sounds and produced charting singles for the likes of Vershon, Macka Diamond, Qraig (from Voicemail), Devin Di Dakta, and many others. With the year 2020 being seen as one of the label’s biggest years, it’s on the way to exceeding expectations in 2021.

2020 saw Ragz To Richez Production making all the necessary moves to become a fixture in various parts of the world. One of the releases that caught the ear of many was Ding Dong’s “Mirror”. Released in May 2020 on the “Public Figure Riddim”, the single quickly amassed thousands of plays on various digital music streaming outlets, and became one of the songs that ruled the summer thanks to being performed at events like Reggae Sumfest 2020. A music video was also made for the single, and has since scored over 800,000 views on Youtube.

Following Ding Dong’s hit for Ragz To Richez Production, Qraig, and emerging artists Intence and Kemar Highcon followed up with the singles “Outside Mi Deh”, “What’s Love”, and “Whap!” respectively. Officially released in Summer 2020, they helped to enhance Ragz To Richez Production’s profile as they became some of the year’s biggest singles. Both Qraig and Kemar’s singles scored high streaming numbers, while Intence’s video for his “What’s Love” single scored over 1 Million views on Youtube. Thanks to their various collaborations and releases, Ragz To Richez Production has been highly requested by some of Jamaica’s top artists, and praised by some of the music industry’s leading figures.
