At times we hear the Artists when they drop new heat, but how many of these acts do we know? Today, the “Mobay King” MoulaUE a.k.a Moula Di Don debuts his “Conversations With MoulaUE” series. In part 1, he introduces himself to the world in “Meet The Artist“. Here he spoke on his background, his inspirations and favourite Artists, how he has developed his sound, thoughts on the Jamaican Hip Hop movement, performing in Jamaica and New York and breaking barriers, preparing for recording sessions, plans for 2016 and more including new music and other projects! PRESS RELEASE: Vybz Kartel’s “Fever” Rises

Just a few days after the release of Fever, the first single from Vybz Kartel’s “King of the Dancehall” album, the accompanying video has already amassed over 300 thousand views on YouTube. The video was directed by Jay Will/ Game Over who creatively conceptualized the masterpiece.

The video is a raunchy, sexy one that brings the words of the song to life. The lead girl in the video suffers from uncontrollable heat in her dreams, bringing on a “fever”; when she awakes she is feverish and covered in sweat. No doubt the video will continue to grow in popularity, as comments are pouring in by the minute.The song Fever comes as an instant gratification when someone purchases “King of the Dancehall”, which was made available for pre-order May 6th exclusively on iTunes.

Distributed by Zojak World Wide, the album will be available exclusively to Apple Music subscribers on June 3rd, the same day  the third instant gratification track, ‘Colouring This Life’, will be offered in the iTunes store. Apple Music will offer exclusive streaming one week before the album is available for download on June 10th , a service usually reserved for major label artists.

“King of the Dancehall” contains never before released tracks from Vybz Kartel, all recorded by the prolific artiste before his incarceration.  The album is a collaborative effort between Adidjahiem Records/TJ Records. Over the years Vybz Kartel has created a strong following with his creative and ingenious lyrics and he shows no signs of slowing down now.

PRESS RELEASE: @RR_Musiq: The New Naughty Girl In Dancehall

Usually known for her sultry collaborations and modest style, Renee Reid popularly known as RR (pronounced Double R) has shocked her fans with a new ‘steamy’ video with Devin Di Dakta. The collaboration, ‘Rev Out the RR’, is produced by Christopher Birch for Birchill Music and on the ‘Moscato Riddim’ and has turned many heads resulting in her fans branding RR as ‘The New Naughty Girl in Dancehall’.

The single has been receiving support locally and internationally and has become a notable collaborative effort. Manager for both artistes Shelly-Ann Curran of John John Music Group is also very excited about the success of the single and the newly released video. She shared, “I ampleased with this collaborated effort and I am very happy to have signed RR to my label. She is a perfect fit. For those who know me well I am very picky when it comes to who I manage but I see a very bright further with her”.

RR is known for major collaborations such as ‘A Dat Yuh Wah’ featuring Sizzla and ‘Crazy in Love Remix’ featuring Mavado. She is now eager to journey further into dancehall; she said “Devin’s style is very hardcore but I bring the sexy side of dancehall and I love it!” When asked about working with Devin Di Dakta she described it as “an easy and memorable task”.

Recently, popular Canadian Media Personality Nardwuar Interviewed the “6 God” Drake, and friend and longtime Producer Noah “40” Shebib. Filmed in Toronto, Canada a.k.a. “The 6ix“, Drake and 40 shared with Nardwuar some aspects of their backgrounds including growing up and 40 and Drake’s first record, “Views“, their influences including the late Rapper Biggie Smalls, Common, the Houston, Toronto, and Memphis Hip Hop scenes, and the Reggae/Dancehall including acts like King Tubby, Mavado, Popcaan, and Vybz Kartel. Drake also mentioned having conversations about Vybz Kartel’s music with fellow Artist PartyNextDoor, and being a fan of King Tubby’s music. It’s an hour long video, so be sure to tune in.
