Koffee came in like a rapture a few years ago, and her season is still not over. The GRAMMY Award winning Artist has not taken her foot off of the gas, and she has a lot more ground to cover. Since making history with her debut EP, “Rapture“, fans have been anticipating a full length project from her. With high profile collaborations and appearances, plenty singles including “Lockdown” that came at a time where everywhere was on lockdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic, now is the time for Koffee to get in the right lane to make more awesomeness happen. Today, we finally get her debut album, “Gifted“.

Featuring 10 tracks, “Gifted” is the highly anticipated album from Koffee. She continues to show that her music is not boxed in, and she has her way and the stage to truly shine with the various sounds presented. J.L.L., Iotosh, JAE5, Frank Dukes, and Teflon Zincfence are a few of the featured Producers on the album, and Koffee effortlessly delivers on the beats. Plenty samples on here too. While fans may or may not want more songs on this project, we do know that Koffee has a lot more lined up for the world to hear. Will this album be a GRAMMY winning effort come 2023? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we get new Koffee songs!

.@ShenYeng Takes Her Career To The Next Level With “ALPHA” Debut Album

Dancehall Artist Shenseea is a go-getter. Since her breakout in 2016, she has been one of the more consistent Artists, dropping plenty hits, and steadily growing her fanbase. Her career took a change for the better when she became the spokesperson for many corporate brands locally and Internationally, but when she signed to Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records, the world was going to see a lot more of her. With a few high profile collaborations and International appearances secured, fans were anticipating an album from Shenseea. She finally made that move with the release of her debut album, “ALPHA“.

Featuring 14 tracks, Shenseea is ready to make a bigger impact on the globe with “ALPHA”. While many Dancehall Artists scoffed at the idea of making albums, the tunes changed in recent years, and Shen joins a growing list of Artists who have released at least 1 complete body of work. Shenseea still gives fans a dose of her signature style, but she taps into other lanes on this album as well. She shows that she has bars, and holds a note well throughout, and with collaborations with Offset, Megan Thee Stallion, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, 21 Savage, and Tyga, her name and face will be present in many more places, encouraging more collabs. She still connects with her Dancehall sounds thanks to Rvssian, Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor, Chimney Records, and Romeich Entertainment, but she takes advantage of the label’s connections by hopping on beats from Scott Storch, Dr. Luke, Cool & Dre, London On Da Track, Murda Beatz, and many others.

Shenseea may be on board to creating history, and only time will tell if she will have an impact like Sean Paul and Shaggy, or greater. “ALPHA” is just a small dose of what’s to come from her, and we hope Jamaica and the rest of the world are ready for it. Congrats to Chinsea!

Breaking out in the early 2000s armed with a aggressive raspy flow and a commanding presence, Bling Dawg had everyone saying, “If anuh me a who” and “A Ricky Rudie! A.k.a. Bling Dawg!“. While he has a respectable amount of hit singles to his name, he never gave his fans an album. After a few transformations in his personal life and career, Bling Dawg’s vision is clearer than ever. Today, Bling Dawg releases his album, “ELEV8“.

Featuring 19 tracks, “ELEV8” is released through US/Guyana based label Creative Titans. The album finds Bling Dawg on a journey to expand his mindset, deliver music with a message, and still show that even after 20+ years, he still can make great music. This is Bling Dawg’s world, and he shares his perspective on various topics, provides some consciousness when we need it, tackles every production thrown his way, and stays sharp on every line. When you have sounds from Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, Dawg House Productions, Baby G, Ferdinand “Young Boy” Maynard Jr., Bobby Digital, Dameon Gayle, Bulby York, and Starplayer Music Group are on board, you’re in for something special. Bling’s not alone on “ELEV8” as he brings along friends like Popcaan, Christopher Martin, Tanya Stephens, Romain Virgo, Morgan Heritage, Bounty Killa, and Busy Signal for this new uplifting journey. “ELEV8” is a solid release from an Artist who despite the odds, emerged more focused than ever, never chased trends, and showed that his work is not done. Known for working with underground Artists and prominent names, there’s no change of that this year. With a collection of projects to his name, he is bringing some heat during these cold times with the 2nd installment in his “Winter Edition” Mixtape series.

Featuring 10 tracks, DJ BlkLuos brings together some of the best emerging talent out of Toronto, New York, and London. Stalk Ashley has been building her career to the level where everything she drops, the fans rush to it like ants to sugar. She has shown that she can take her career to International levels, and still keep it true to her Jamaican roots. While many still anticipate a full project from her, she keeps the fans happy with the release of her EP, “EXcuses, Pt. 1“.

With 6 tracks, Stalk Ashley gives us quality music that we’ve come to know from her. With her sultry vocals and an attitude that keeps you in line, “EXcuses, Pt. 1” is a release that you should add to your list. The EP features production from Krs., Darren Jaxx Jack, KingBNJMN, William Repko, Eugene Tsai, and Dylan Graham, and the beats definitely distract you while Stalk’s lyrics put you in a chokehold. Rapper/Producer BEAM makes an appearance on the EP as the sole guest feature, but he makes his presence felt. This year saw a lot of releases, but fans of Stalk Ashley will definitely keep this EP close as the album is finalized.

It’s been a long time coming, but Dancehall Artist Masicka has held his own as one of Jamaica’s top Lyricists. Whether you know him as the “Genahsyde Boss” or “Theo Di Future“, Masicka has represented well for over a decade. One thing was missing was an album, but he fixes that with the release of his highly anticipated debut album, “438“.

Loaded with 16 tracks, Masicka guarantees zero skips here as he covers a variety of topics, flexes his lyricism, and gives us some storytelling as well. You’ve come to expect a top form Artist here, and with solid production from some of the top Producers in the game (Dunw3ll and Kalex are said to have made contributions to the album. Whoever uploaded the album didn’t credit the Producers.) and guest appearances by Stefflon Don, Sean Paul, Dexta Daps, and Popcaan, “438” is gonna be your album of the year.
