Premiering a new song today in the form of a lyric video is Reggae artist, Protoje. Titled “Stylin‘”, this was directed by Yannick Reid with shots by Nickii Kane, Art Direction by Taj Francis and features Kandi King. Great song here with a visual that is pleasing to the eye. A part that I really enjoyed was Protoje’s use of the Talk Box in the chorus. Enjoy the visuals, sing the lyrics and look out for Protoje’s 3rd studio album “Ancient Future” which is scheduled to be released in 2015. Dancehall royalty graced the set of Onstage earlier in the form of Dancehall King Beenie Man and Dancehall Queen Lady Saw. Being interviewed together for the first time they spoke about being on LIME’s “Full Black” event, Lady Saw’s new album, Beenie’s recent tour and working on new music, Lady Saw mentoring Lisa Hyper and more. This was a fun interview as two Dancehall veterans have laughs with Winford and speak candidly here. Check out their performances at “Full Black“. With quite a global following, Christopher Martin has come a long way since his days on Digicel’s Rising Stars. Fresh off his visit from a few tours he joins Winford Williams on Onstage for a chat. Here he spoke about his recent trip to Uganda, quelled rumors of him contracting the Ebola virus, touring to other countries, his acting debut, and his new album “Stepping Razor“. He also gave an acoustic performance of some of his latest songs for the audience. Good to see Mr. Martin in a good health and I wish him continued success. Dropping off his latest music video is the “Hot Ras“, I Octane. Featuring the singles “What A Way We Shattin‘” and “Dem A Freak“, we see clips of I Octane’s concert performances, interacting with people, and of course performing his medley.
