Dancehall/Pop Artist Shenseea has taken her brand and music to various parts of the world, and the work never stops. Since breaking out in 2016, she has been building her fanbase with hits, and ushered in new movements. Her name soon brought International acclaim, and soon found herself working with many from Tyga, to Masego, to Kanye West. She aims for more with the release of her sophomore album, “Never Gets Late Here“.

Featuring 14 tracks, Shenseea expands her catalogue with “Never Gets Late Here”, and show that her flame has not been outed. While she received mixed reviews for her debut album and criticism for comments made prior to that, she shared that she would return to her Dancehall roots. It’s up to the listener to determine if she’s back in the department with the new project. Production on NGLH include the likes of Rvssian, Di Genius, Gitty Music, Stargate, Supah Mario, Romeich Entertainment, London On Da Track, and Supa Dups, while Masicka, WizKid, Anitta, and Coi Leray show up with contributions to further enhance the listening experience. J’Calm Releases Debut Album, “Niche”

2023 turned out to be a breakout year for many Artists. Recording Artist/Producer J’Calm was one of the names that made some noise throughout the year. Thanks to the single, “Tempted“, he caught the attention of many, including a former US President, went viral on TikTok, and many began anticipating more from him. Luckily, he was working on an album called “Niche“, and it’s out now.

Featuring 13 tracks and released through RoseGold Records, J’Calm looks to make a difference with “Niche”. The debut album taps into Dancehall, Pop, Afrosounds, Reggae, R&B, and Hip Hop elements, with topics that many can relate to. He has the style, he has the vocals, and he has solidified himself as a legend in Jamaican music. He captivates the ladies, he makes the crowd sway to his music, and his name is Dexta Daps. Today (January 12) marks his birthday, and he celebrates it in one of the best ways with the release of his latest album, “Trilogy“.

“Trilogy” is the follow up to the much-celebrated “VENT” album, and Dexta Daps is once again at his best here. Featuring 16 tracks, Dexta has something for everyone here, with a few dedicated to the ladies to enjoy over and over. The new album is a celebration of the staying power of the Dancehall Crooner, and this is just a preview of what’s to come for the Artist this year. 2023 saw the continued rise of one of Japan’s leaders in Dancehall, Hibikilla. The veteran Artist has dedicated a portion of his life to the music, and the people have been showing a lot of love. While he has been active, the fans needed an album from him. He fulfilled their request with the release of, “Killertune“.

“Killertune” is Hibikilla’s first album in 12 years, and it is some of his best work to date. Packed with 12 tracks, the Deejay shows a renewed energy on the album as he gives us the hard-hitting lyrics that reflect on some of his experiences and ambitions, dabbles in various flows and deliveries, and shows that he is as potent as ever with his artistry. “Killertune” features an array of different sounds that Hibikilla handles with ease, including production from the likes of Young Beats Instrumental and EJ Fya, and the Deejay shares with the spotlight with KOTA, Tach-B, Laya, and DABO.
