Many can recall last year when DJ Foota Hype and Singer IShawna were riding on the wave off news of their engagement. Since then they have broken off their engagement and terminated their long term relationship. Tonight on Onstage, IShawna says that she “Needs Love“. She spoke about her breakup with Foota Hype, furthering her career, still working with DownSound Records, and future projects. IShawna also premiered the music video for “Need Love“. Good to see IShawna still working and not letting her recent breakup affect her. I do hope things work out for her soon. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Today’s new video comes from I Octane. Titled “Trendsetta” and directed by Bling Blang Productions, I Octane and friends are celebrating life, avoiding negative people, and creating a following in this one. It’s all about partying, sexy ladies, liquor overflowing, high grades blowing in the air and everyone having a grand time over the Good Good Productions riddim. Great effort here and Bling Blang can add another hit to the list. I Octane has been hitting the airwaves hard and with his album “My Journey” out now, there’s no slowing down. Accurate! Today Kabaka Pyramid released the visual for a single that has been making its rounds. The DJ Frass produced “Never Gonna Be A Slave“, which was directed by Eric Christian King and shot in Kingston, Kabaka speaks on not being a slave to the system, never selling out on his beliefs, how people suffer in the system, discrimination, and promoting consciousness. Very good video here and I like the shots where Kabaka is on top of the building and when he’s interacting with people. “The fire burning immaculate“. “Personally” is a single created by the Nigerian duo P-Squared. Since its release it has been a hit on Youtube and many other avenues. It has been so much of a hit that Jamaican acts have gravitated to the Instrumental and today Busy Signal is one of those acts to tackle it. Titled “Professionally“, Busy speaks on being the ladies man and the things he does with them professionally. He also drops a line about selling platinum records and aiming for a Grammy. Jamaicans are not new at having their own take on a popular song but Busy Signal had to make sure he did it justice. Wine fi me baby.
