In preparation of the Stay Schemin’ party that will be held this saturday in the West Cumberland area of Portmore, the Yung Gunnerz released a mixtape. Titled as the “Official Stay Schemin’ Mixtape“, this features almost an hour worth of Hip Hop music, Dancehall Music, and a choice selection of dubs from some of the best artists in the business. Mixtape Movements: @CTRLIndustries x DJ Journee – Rolling Mix (Hosted By @FiveSteez)

Today’s mixtape comes from U.S. based DJ Journee. Titled “Rolling Mix” and hosted by Jamaican Rapper Five Steez, this a collaboration with Jui-Jitsu/MMA apparel company CTRL Industries and the DJ. The mix features some really good remixes from the DJ with tracks by Five Steez, Busy Signal, Kabaka Pyramid, Nas, Pete Rock and many more. Noisey Music is back with another episode of the “Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show“. In today’s episode Noisey features Reggae star I-Octane. Here Codine Williams showcased I-Octane rehearsing for his performance at Reggae Sumfest and recording dubs at Buju Banton’s Gargamel Studios. Octane also spoke on his upbringing, his interest in music at a young age, his mission to make his music speak volumes and gain further recognition, and being a good influence. Nice Interview, I like that they featured his “We Love The Vibes” single and dropping a exclusive at the end. I wished this interview was longer though. Mixtape Movements: Selecta Soldier x Pressure (@BussPipe) – Official Mixtape

After a short wait, Pressure linked up with Portuguese DJ Selecta Soldier and put out a much anticipated tape. Titled “Official Mixtape“, Pressure got into toasting mode and dropped great lyrics over choice reggae riddims. He even threw in a couple studio singles in the mix. Great tape with the dubplate feel, Pressure is one of the artists that gets alot of respect. check out the tape below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
