On today’s episode of Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show Gaza Slim is the featured artist. We see Codine Williams, Slim and crew situated at a courthouse in Kingston where Vybz Kartel attended a court date. Here Gaza Slim told Codine about her start in the music business, meeting Vybz Kartel, his incarceration, members of the Portmore Empire, her “Addi” tattoo, and other things. They also visited the West Bank community in Portmore and spoke to a few of Kartel’s fans and learned of the impact Kartel has on the community. It’s always great when Jamaicans can go to anywhere in the world and make their families, country and themselves proud. Today on Onstage Winford Williams interviews the lovely Steffani Walters. Here she announced that apart from doing Reggae music, she has signed on to be a part of the Broadway version of The Lion King cast in Germany. She also spoke on the details and duties in her role as a member of the Lion King cast and her career as a Reggae Artist. Short but nice interview, I do wish her the best and she started in Jamaica.
