“The Release” is an Entertainment Program featured on Hype TV every Tuesday at 8:30 PM, with repeats on Thursday and Saturday at 6:30 PM. Hosted by Talisa Taylor, the program features some of the newest entertainment releases and upcoming events. NEW MUSIC: @IAmTheKartel – Which League

Prison has definitely not held back this Dancehall Artist’s hunger as Vybz Kartel drops a new single titled, “Which League“. Produced by TJ Records, we hear a Kartel that is reminiscent of his “Gun tunes” times. Since its preview, it has been pleasing to the ears of many fans. Who is he really throwing shots at in this single? Many have speculated that it’s aimed at a certain “2016” Artist, but time will tell. Have you ever seen a Killer kill a shadow? Interesting fact, today (Sept. 30) marks 4 years since Vybz Kartel has been behind bars. 4 years later he’s still dominating the airwaves. The good folks over at P.A.Y. Productions have been cooking up lots of good music over the years, and recently they’ve released an EP featuring some of their latest work. The “Push A Yute Presents” EP is a 5 track compilation featuring high energy contributions from Supa Hype, Mr Lexx, Wasp, Redd Man UK, Ice Cold, Munga, and Bastic. In respect to Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel, Onstage went into their archives and delivered a flashback to Kartel’s last big Interview from 2011. Here Kartel spoke about his bottling encounter, returing to performing on Sting, family life, his feud with Bounty Killa, his new image, music, business ventures and many more. NEW VIDEO: @Jamie___XX x @PopcaanMusic x @YoungThug – Good Times

After blazing the airwaves and the streets for months, there is finally a visual for Jamie XX, Young Thug and Popcaan’s “Good Times (I Know There’s Gonna Be)“. Directed by Rollo Jackson, we see Jamie getting the crowd hype with the single in one location, Young Thug vibing in another, and Popcaan chilling on a balcony. Nice visual, while I like the placements of “Good Times“, I was disappointed in not hearing Popcaan’s verse in this. What I’ve found out recently is that this single has been featured in the soundtrack of NBA Live 16 so big ups to the “Unruly Boss” on the achievement.
