After captivating your ears with the single, Protoje and Chronixx now bring to you this visual for their hit single, “Who Knows”. Directed by Storm Saulter, the two artists bring out their conscious lyrics over the Winta James production while they take a trip, encounter a break down, bike back travelling, and a boat ride where they rock a Reggae party. Great sequence of events in this video and a very clean one as well. Check out the cameos in this one as well. NEW MUSIC: @LadySawOffical – Pretty Fingers

LadySawShootQ20090916IAIt’s all about the fingers, and today Lady Saw drops a new single about them. Titled “Pretty Fingers“, Saw talks about self love, expressing how her fingers know her better than anyone else, and grooming her “best friends” who never deceive her and leave her unhappy over a high energy production. Not a bad effort from the deejay, she gave viewers a heads up about this single a few weeks ago on Onstage so now it’s available for everyone to hear. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @KabakaPyramid x @RealIWayne – Versatile

KI

Dropping some consciousness today are Kabaka Pyramid and I-Wayne with their new video, “Versatile“. Directed by G’Ovany and shot by Mario Francis in Cassia Park and East Kingston, we see Kabaka and I-Wayne gather with their brothers and speak about the issues in society, artists promoting the wrong things, bigging up Tessanne Chin and her talent, and how we must all be versatile. We also see scenes where a youth steals from a vendor, an old lady needing old for her lamp and of course the rasta flag waving. I liked this song the first time I’ve heard it and I’m glad a video came out for it. What do you think? Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @Acmatic – Bottom Of The Bank

BmZcZ9oCAAAT0LsDropping new music today is Jamaica’s Acmatic. Titled “Bottom Of The Bank” and produced by PlateFace and backup vocals from Sevana, we hear lyrics about dealing with expenses, sending family members to a psych ward, frustrations and washing away sorrows with alcohol. Many people in Jamaica are going through a few things especially when it comes to the cost of living. With new taxes, higher prices on even basic necessities and no increase in salary, many can’t handle it and take to the bottle to temporarily relieve that stress. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
