Produced by Koastal Kings and featuring Reggae Artist Ras-I, Munga Honorable’s “Rastafari In Charge” is the song for those who need something different on the Playlist. The collaboration encourages a more militant mindset, further upholding of standards, unity, good meds, and a wave of positive energy. Rastafari is for the people, and more music like this is needed on the airwaves, and in the streets. The Summer has been welcoming a string of music releases that quickly connected with the people, and we can hear this one getting regular rotation throughout, and an official music video doing numbers. It’s all about the positive energy.

Life has made a few new turns for Recording Artist Blvk H3ro. From being an Artist on the rise since the late 2010s, to steadily becoming a favourite in various parts of the world, he can say he couldn’t predict the future, but he was prepared for it. He’s now a GRAMMY-nominated act with a couple hits under his belt, and a name to know thanks to his performances in parts of North America and Europe. He’s ready for the next level with his new album, “On A Mission“.

Featuring 15 tracks, “On A Mission” is a body of work from an Artist with a new vision. It Blvk H3ro’s debut project with the major label Delicious Vinyl Island, and the follow up to his 2018 “The Immortal Steppa” with Dubshot Records, which was widely received. The new album features the 2021 hit single “It Nuh Easy“, previously released singles, and new collaborations with a few notable names. Production on the album include the likes of Bob Riddim, Princeton Brown, Shane Creative, and Koastal Kings, while Soko7, Blaq Pages, Anthony B, Teejay, Skillibeng, Winky D, and Kojo Funds are just some of the collaborators.

Some of us have seen Blvk H3ro’s rise to stardom early, it’s time the rest of the world gets familiar. He has a plan, and he won’t stop till it’s accomplished.

Jamaican Creative/Recording Artist Joby Jay has come a long way since her debut single, “Big Girl Ting“. With a few awards, performances, and singles to her name, she looks to become a household name, and a global brand. To take things to a new level, she recently released her debut EP, “Love Levels“.

Containing 7 tracks, the “Love Levels” EP finds Joby Jay tapping into love in different forms, relationships, and showcasing her vocal abilities and ear for unique sounds. To kick off the rollout for the EP, Joby released the single “Bare“, which was met with positive feedback. With production from the likes of NLSON, Koastal Kings, J.L.L., Island.Wav, Ziah, and Yannick Martin Belinga, Joby Jay’s songs were placed in great hands, and together they make for an entertaining listen. Listeners new to her music will not be disappointed with “Love Levels”, and can look forward to even more offerings from her in the future.

Remember seeing those travel commercials inviting you to come to the Caribbean? How about those about coming to Jamaica? Yes the Island is a home away from home, and is indeed a paradise, but have you ever taken a look into how the residents are living outside the Hotels and Resorts that you’re used to? Well, Recording Artist Chris Malachi wants to give you a first hand look into life inside  “Paradise” on “Everything Cool“!

Produced by Koastal Kings, Chris Malachi’s “Everything Cool” is far from all that “Tropical” vibes foreigners speak of. You are in for a surprise if you thought this was a party song. While Tourists can get fat and lazy on the white sand beaches with a few Red Stripes in the cooler, Chris sheds a light on what Jamaicans are going through daily. Chris’ delivery is great as always on “Everything Cool”, and this is an important song that puts the island and the leaders under a microscope. From rising crime, to classism, to the Government failing the people, to a bad economy, the single and video will wake up many, and a change needs to happen.

Accompanying the single is a music video directed by Chris and Maya Wilkinson that was so beautifully presented, that even the Jamaica Tourist Board would blush. The video isn’t without a great cast which include Shernette Higgins, Koastal Kings, Bernard Hasenbichler, O’Neil Dacres, and the legendary Owen “Blakka” Ellis. Chris Malachi cleverly promoted the single through a series of Tourism related content that was reminiscent of the “Kool Runnings” and “Come Back To Jamaica” eras, and he has a lot more in store in the coming days. Happy Friday folks! We know many started off the day on the wrong foot, but we hope our latest entry changes all that. In fact, we believe that when you watch Ras-I’s “Kingman Ting” music video, you’ll find a huge smile plastered on your face!

Directed by LatyKim, Ras-I is fresh from the palace with this one. With great shots throughout, the addition of musicians, dancers, good friends, and great vibes, this is the video to keep on repeat. Having enjoyed a buzz since the single’s release, Ras-I and the song’s Co-Producers Koastal Kings knew they’ve found a hit once completed. It’s safe to say “Kingman Ting” is one of the year’s best releases, and we know Ras-I has more in store. Wha dem a go do fi stop Rasta?
