Singer/Actress/Reality TV Star Amara La Negra has been enjoying an enormous amount of buzz since crossing over to the US market thanks to her appearances on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Miami“. Since then, she has signed record contracts, and made her brand spread everywhere. Making time for the studio however, she has released her latest single, “Insecure“. Produced by Theron Thomas of Rock City and Supa Dups (with Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor making a cameo appearance), Amara wants to get to the bottom of things as her intuition is tingling when it comes to matters of the heart.
This marks Amara’s first official single for her upcoming debut album, and her second release in recent weeks with the first being the Sister Nancy sampled, “What A Bam Bam“. What’s next for the Afro Latina bombshell? Stay tuned. Check out the track below.
Nothing like shooting a video in Jamaica, right? Well popular Reggaeton Artist Ozuna, and the “Queen Of The BX” a.k.a. “Bardi” a.k.a. Cardi B, released the visual to their latest collaboration titled “La Modelo” (Model). Directed by Dimelo Vi, and shot in Portland (including the World famous Trident Hotel), Ozuna stays fresh on the scene and gets cozy with Cardi while she oozes sex appeal in every scene. The video also features some great shots of the area throughout, and the addition of Dancers add to the vibe of the Dancehall inspired single. Fans will be pleased to hear Cardi singing a few notes as well. Cardi has been having an amazing year filled with Billboard top spots, Grammy Noms, and a lot of buzz coming her way. Ozuna continues to soar in stardom, and is riding high off the release of his latest EP, “Odisea“. Check out the visual below.
If you haven’t been noticing, Comedian/Director Kyng Taj has been dropping videos with a message. Today, in effort to bring more unity in the Dancehall, he presents “Mexicano Inna Di Dancehall“. Featuring Andrew Maragh as “The Mexicano“, Taj plays a Rasta man enjoying the good vibrations and selections from the DJ played by Corey Williams. From a fight almost breaking out due to differences in Culture (and flashing locks), to both characters busting out dance moves, this video will add a few bright sparks to your day (or whenever you’re watching it).
