Teejay Unleashes “I Am Chippy” EP, “Dip” With Tommy Lee Sparta

2023 was the year for “Drift“, but 2024 is the year Teejay the global Artist makes significant moves. The Deejay has been busy these past few months. From scoring a International hit single, to signing a Record deal, to even confronting fellow Dancehall Artists in short-lived lyrical battles. With all that’s happening and happened, it’s still his time to shine. He steps out with the EP, “I Am Chippy“.

Featuring 10 tracks, Teejay delivers a package that is street-certified, club ready, and globally accepted. While many awaited an album from the Deejay, plans for that is currently shelved, and “I Am Chippy” will set the tone for his career moving forward. “Drift” and its remix with Davido are featured, and production includes the likes of DJ Mac, Panda, Slingerz Records, DJ Frass, and Extol Music. Teejay doesn’t take on the world by himself, and he brings along Skillibeng, Tommy Lee Sparta, Quada, Jaydon, Bayka, and Malie Donn.

Teejay follows up the EP release with the official Music Video for “Dip” featuring Tommy Lee Sparta. The Lagikz Supreme-directed visual brings out the Dancers, and is a great addition to the EP’s release, as it quickly became a hit since its release as a single a few weeks ago. Get ready to drift, dip, and hold a vibes with the Uptop Boss.

Trinidad/Brooklyn-based Recording Artist Young Devyn has been on the scene for quite some time. She has been steadily building her presence and fanbase thanks to a number of releases including her two “Baby Goat” projects, and collaborations with the likes of Fivio Foreign, Ace Numbafive, Kenzo B, and EA Sports for the “Madden 24” soundtrack. While things have been looking up, she still finds time to flex her abilities on popular tracks. She went viral by remixing Byron Messia’s “Talibans” this past Summer, and now she tackles Malie Donn’s “V6“.

Young Devyn gives Malie Donn’s “V6” the “Bad Gyal Remix” treatment, and she is having fun here. Adding to the remix, she dropped a In-Studio performance video directed by Reel Guerrillas. The original “V6” has been considered one of the top singles of 2023, and has been enjoying its share of viral love. Young Devyn looks to drop more music in the coming weeks. DJ Khaled once said, “They didn’t believe in us, but God did!“. From overcoming an impoverished background to seeing a near endless amount of success, it is a testament for the International DJ/Producer. For Dancehall Artist Malie, he recognizes that he has been blessed. He speaks on it and more in “God Did“.

With a video directed by 9 Mile Visualz, Malie a.k.a. Malie Donn paints a picture for the viewers that his is climbing to the top, and all that he has dreamed, hoped, and prayed for, is coming to him. He shares some of his experiences since earning success, but he also throws a few shots at those who didn’t believe in him. He takes the cue from DJ Khaled and states that God made a lot of things in his life possible.
