After being taken under the wing of Sly & Robbie recently, D.I. has been working hard at making some hits that will really rock the airwaves. Tonight on Onstage she spoke about her career so far, her collaborative album with Sly & Robbie called “D.I. The Rebel“, her single “Rebel” being a huge hit, her new single “My Man“, changes in her preparation and delivery of her music, her recent tour with Gyptian, gaining new fans and future plans. Oh lawd it’s another full length effort from the Rapper/Singer/Deejay called Hard Dayz. Titled “Dayz Go By“, this features 11 tracks for the ladies, thugs, and stoners. Dayz even made a 2Pac tribute and spat lyrics over “’93 Til Infinity“. With features from Vindon, Eon Smith, The Protocol, Tonii Carise and others, Dayz never failed to catch the listener’s attention. Good effort, I like that he did those old school hip hop instrumentals some justice. He’s a problem, feed him green. Check out the mixtape below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Tommy Lee Sparta takes the bilingual approach this time around on his new single. Titled “Defend” and produced by Guzu Musiq, we hear the Sparta General declaring that he can defend himself anywhere and let’s you know how he can do so. Not getting enough love at home? Looks like you may have to make a house call! Today’s new music comes from Dreggae and this features singer Jewel Melissa. Titled “House Call” and produced by FrassTwinz, we hear Dreggae making moves to give a lady some good loving that she’s missing at home and details how it should be handled while Jewel provides some of the vocals.
