@ChuxStarr Fulfills Desires In “Tell Me” Single!

Upcoming Recording Artist Chux Starr is set on making a breakthrough in the music business. The Artist has been getting a lot of attention with the release of his single, “Tell Me” featuring EMG. Released on September 1, “Tell Me” was produced by Fonz Production and LTTP Beats.

“So far mi happy with the response; everybody has been telling me that they love the song, especially the ladies. The song has 28,000 plays on Soundcloud and grows by like 500 daily. It’s in rotation on Toronto’s biggest Urban Radio Station and gets plays at every uptown party,” says an enthused Chux Starr.

Known for hits such as “Loving Nonstop” and “Mama”, Chux Starr is devoted to his musical career and is now locked in the studio working on new singles. “Chux Starr never stops working and right now I have a lot of things in the pipeline. So just look out for the name, cause a whole heap more things to come,” said Chux Starr.

Our Jamaican culture continues to be undefeated when it comes to influencing music. Canadian Recording Artist Big Lean is one of those who embraced the culture and made it a part of the music. Born to Jamaican Immigrants, he has been making noise for some time. Recently he premiered his single and music video, “Stamina“. Directed by Zac Facts, Big Lean shares a little of his “Yardie” side and speaks on his Mom wanting Grandkids, shows off that he can “Handle di wuk” once he downs a Dragon Stout, instructs his lady to “wine pon di ting“, is a “Gallis inna real life” and states “Me likkle but me tallawah“. With Producer Sevn Thomas handling the beat, this makes to be an easy going listen from Big Lean. Something to grab a gal and slow wine with. A so yuh fi wine baby! @PopcaanMusic Cruises On @PartyNextDoor’s “Only U (Remix)”!

Jamaica and Canada link up today as OVO’s Party Next Door and the “Unruly Boss” Popcaan team up for the “Only U (Remix)“! Recently premiered on episode 30 of “OVO Sound Radio“, Popcaan adds his touch to the track that has been one of the standouts on Party’s “P3” album. Produced by Boi-1da, the single features a Dancehall flavoured production with a “Bruk Out” sample that was made popular thanks to the Xtra Large label’s “Bruk Out Riddim” which made its debut in 1998. Popcaan has been staying busy as he also remixed Roy Woods’ “Gwaan Big Up Yuhself” and other tracks that will soon come to light.
