Sizzla Takes On Japan For New Multi-City “Everlasting Tour”

Jamaican music Icon Sizzla Kalonji has blessed people globally with great music, and classic sounds. With a career closing in on 30 years, he connects with generations of listeners, and is still crafting timeless music. Having released a number of singles this year, Sizzla believed it was time to connect with the people in person, so he embarked on the ā€œEverlasting Tourā€.

Announced in January 2023, Sizzla Kalonji has taken his talents to the Land of the Rising Sun for a number of performances on his ā€œEverlasting Tourā€. Started on April 25 at Vibes in the city of Ibaraki, Sizzla performed to a packed venue, belting out some of his many hits. The tour continued to Kagoshima on the 26th where he made a scene at the Duckbill club. The famous Voodoo Lounge in Fukuoka was next to receive the Kalonji experience on April 27, and patrons were left with memories that will last a lifetime. For the weekend of the 28th to the 30th, Route Fourteen in Ichikawa, King Xmhu in Sapporo, and Mairo in Toyama welcomed Sizzla with a lot of love and vibes, and he blessed them with classic selections in return.Ā 

For the first week of May, the ā€œEverlasting Tourā€ takes over Japanā€™s night life. From the 1st to the 4th, Downtown in Osaka, Harbor Studio in Kobe, Modā€™s in Okinawa, and Cross Road7 in Tobishima will felt Sizzlaā€™s presence, and groove through the night to his various hits. The multi-city tour concludes this weekend in Kyoto at Octave, Clubasia in Shibuya, and lastly in Hiroshima at the Mugen5610 club. Despite the many episodes the world has gone through in the past few years, good music continues to prevail, and Sizzla Kalonji is one of the representatives to carry it near and far. Rhiya Luna Delivers At Etana’s “Reggae Forever Tour” Salisbury Beach Stop!

Grammy nominated Recording Artist Etana recently kicked off her US summer Tour in promotion of her latest album, “Reggae Forever“. From April 13 to August 3, Etana brings the hits to stops including Texas, New York, Florida, and California. Over the Memorial Day Weekend (May 26), she made a stop in Massachusetts at the Surfside Salisbury Beach. Opening for the Reggae Artist was upcoming Recording Artist, Rhiya Luna!

With her set lasting an hour, Rhiya Luna treated the audience to some classic Reggae and R&B hits, and a few of her original compostions showcasing her diversity. With DJ Garfield’s assistance, Rhiya kicked things off with Bob Marley’s “Is This Love“, and included the Sam Cooke classic “Bring It On Home To Me” before closing with her tracks “Really Like You“, and the soon to be released “Me & I“. She was well received by those in attendance as some danced and assisted in performing with her on stage.

Formerly known as Shie, Rhiya Luna’s sound is a blend of Dancehall, Reggae, R&B, Pop, and Afrobeats. Based in Massachusetts, USA, she has been working her way up with the singles “Be Ok“, “Love Pursued“, “Dreams“, “So Good“, and “Sweet Reggae Music“. Rhiya Luna’s next performance will be at the “Smoke On The Water” Sunset Cruise in Gloucester, Massachusetts on July 27. @TheReleaseJA Encourages Young Innovators

The Release Television Programme will be hosting their Community College Tour geared towards encouraging young Innovators. The Tour will feature “The Release Innovation Challenge (TRIC)” which is a challenge for students and staff to showcase and be awarded for their innovation in Technology, Music, Food and Fashion.

The Tour is expected to educate and promote the benefits of inventing; encourage Entrepreneurship among students and to promote sportsmanship among peers through in-school Innovation challenges. Executive Producer and Host for The Release, Talisa Taylor said, ā€œLast year we did a Social ME-dia: Release Responsibly Tour that spoke to the use of Social Media among High School students so this year we decided to promote a different message through encouraging creativity and further awarding itā€.

The Tour is set to begin in October and will visit schools such as College of Agriculture Science and Education (C.A.S.E.), Excelsior Community College, Knox Community College, Moneague Community College, Montego Bay Community College, Bethlehem Moravian College, Brownā€™s Town Community College, and Portmore Community College. Joseph Moore, another Executive Producer of The Release said, ā€œWe believe in promoting positivity so The Release will continue to share social messages that can influence our target audienceā€.

The Tour is sponsored by JUTC and Alternative Music will include a Celebrity judging panel, seminars from different groups on improving Inventions, capitalizing on them and a concert featuring student performers and guest Artists. Recording Artist Di Govanah aka The New Garvey is currently on his thirdĀ Summer Tour in Europe. He has been booked for some major shows and is performingĀ alongside the Gully Echo Band fromĀ Switzerland. The Artist is now doing rounds inĀ places like Portugal, Germany, Spain, Italy and Austria.

Di Govanah says this tour is very important as it has given him the opportunity to exposeĀ his music to different markets.Ā ā€œI am expanding on my music and my mission. I have always gotten huge support from theĀ European Market and aĀ tour of this magnitude means that I will be introducing myĀ music to a whole set of new fans.ā€Ā During the tour, the upcoming Artist has met up with several Producers in Germany toĀ work on his debut Dancehall album. So far he has been an instant hit at the variousĀ locations that he has performed and looks forward to embarking on a similar journey laterĀ this year.

Di Govanah performed songs such as My Island from The New Garvey EP, and A Nuh FiĀ Everybody.Ā Fans of the Dancehall Artist are in for a treat as he will be shooting two new videos thatĀ will be ready to hit the market later this year. PassĀ The Herb and Feel Right are his choices for visuals and will start work on them as soon as he returns to the Island. Di GovanahĀ plans on taking the business by storm by supplying the demand for good,Ā wholesome music.Ā ā€œI prefer to put out music that has a shelf life, music that will last for generations to come.Ā I have a lot of new projects in the pipeline, so just look out for the name, “Di Govanah”.ā€

The artiste who is set to release his video for ā€˜House Partyā€™ shot by RD Studios and produced byĀ UIM Records has been making moves to secure his place on the dancehall scene. ā€œI am all aboutĀ working with the best to achieve the best, I have a great team and I am confident that we willĀ make the right movesā€ shared Sanity.

Often known as ā€˜D Sane 1ā€™ for his lyrically content and his unique style, Sanity is eager to startĀ his promotional runs after his video premiere on Hype TV this Friday. Sanity added, ā€œThis videoĀ was professionally done and it has a nice twist to it; I know my fans will love itā€.
