What do you get when you add Lincoln 3Dot a.k.a. “Every Gal Man“, Khaos a.k.a. “Mr. One F**k“, and a Studio? Something crazy of course! Today, they’ve joined forces and crafted the “Young Jesus Freestyle“. Borrowing Hip Hop Artist Logic’s “Young Jesus” beat, the duo trade braggadocious bars, girls, stories, and let listeners know that they aim to leave a huge dent in the Music scene! A track that’ll have you rewinding frequently, this could be the beginning of something dope to come from these two Artists? Collab EP? Mixtape? Let’s see. @MrLevy411 Collabs With @Supreme_NYC X Jah Life!

New York based Streetwear Brand Supreme recently teamed up with Reggae Crooner Barrington Levy and Reggae Producer Hyman “Jah Life” Wright for a new line of Clothing for their Summer ’16 collection. Wright, who along with Henry “Junjo” Lawes, were the Producers who contributed to the rise of Barrington Levy’s career from the late 70’s to the 80’s. Together they’ve helped to create timeless albums such as “Bounty Hunter“, “Englishman“, and “Robin Hood” which spawned many hits for the young Levy. Supreme is no stranger to the Caribbean as they have worked with DJ/Director/Style Icon Va$htie who is of Trinidadian Heritage, and had a line that featured the late Jamaican Recording Artist Sugar Minott. The new line features a hooded Sweatshirt, 3 T-shirts and a Tank top highlighting the original artwork for Levy’s previously mentioned albums, and a shirt featuring H.I.M. Haile Selassie I. The collection will be available in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and online on June 16 while it hits Japan on June 18.

Produced by Taylor King, Tazz brings the energy down a little on this one as he cruises over a smooth Production and reps his team while Kans keeps it locked and loaded in the passenger seat. With a series of Freestyles and collaborations lately, Tazz continues to rep for Montego Bay’s Hip Hop Movement and with “Savage SZN” on the horizon, he aims to get more ears open to the HTG sound. PRESS RELEASE: Philadelphia Jerk Festival Brings The Heat This Summer!

The Philadelphia Jerk Festival embraces its multicultural vision with the announcement of its first set of performers featuring Reggae superstar Luciano, Dancehall entertainer Agent Sasco and Barbadian Soca duo Leadpipe + Saddis. Luciano, who has released over 35 albums in his 20+ years career, joins the lyrical firestarter Agent Sasco also known as Assassin who appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy award winning album, and Leadpipe + Saddis, whose hit “Ah Feelin” is widely regarded as one of the biggest Soca hits in recent times.

Scheduled to take place at the spacious Fairmount Park in Philadelphia Sunday, August 28th, the annual festival promises to be a full day of activities for families along with a full concert experience. “This initial artists announcement is merely an appetizer for what is to come” says the Festival’s media and production director Dave Grant, “We will be adding more acts, including an AfroBeats performer to round out the cast”.

Along with performances, patrons will have their palates tantalized with a wide range of food, desserts and beverages from vendors who will be travelling to Philadelphia from along the East Coast. Several of the regions top chefs, restaurants and food trucks will have a presence at the festival, delivering delicacies from Mother Africa to the Caribbean. Clinton Garibaldi, President of Jabari Productions added, “We are pleased to be partner with supportive sponsors, including returning sponsor Western Union”.

The Tri State area has over 200,000 residents of Caribbean descent and countless others who are fans of its cuisine and culture, many of whom have already reserved tickets for what promises to be a great family outing.

The Jamaican Hip Hop movement has spread far and wide over the years and despite it not being as mainstream as its musical sibling, Dancehall, it has been on the radar of many top and upcoming Artists and Producers elsewhere.
