In just a couple years, Reggae artist Chronixx has become a household name worldwide. With captivating lyrics and an awesome stage presence, there’s no stopping the 21 year old artist. Tonight he joined Winford Williams to speak on a few things. Here he spoke about his upcoming “Dread And Terrible” project and the meaning of the name, being the jack of all musical trades and being around multifaceted people, accomplishing so much in his youth and giving it up to his ever expanding team, being independent, going on a European tour, and being more serious about his career and making the right investments. Great Interview here, with the way his career is going it’s only right that he molds it the way he wants it to be and ensures that no faults are being made. Featuring Vybz Kartel and remixed by DJ Lank of Code Red Sound, we get some of Kartel’s greatest badman lyrics over the popular song that has been making its rounds since last year. In recognition of Federation Sound’s 15th anniversary and Vybz Kartel’s career that has been stalled by his recent convictions, today’s Oldies Sunday selection comes in the form of a mixtape. Titled “From Time To Time“, this mixtape increased the popularity of Vybz Kartel and marked as the first collaboration between him and Federation Sound. Released in 2003, this mixtape featured hits from the artist, exclusive dubs and more that brought him from a local star to an International name to know. Founded in 1999 by Max Glazer, Kenny Meez, and Cipha Sounds, Federation Sound was formed to help bring Reggae music and message to all walks of life in the form of exclusive mixes and dubplates. With current members such as Alric & Boyd, and past member the late Disco D, Federation Sound became a force to be reckoned with in their 15 year career.
