Skeng Has The Outdoors On Lock In “Nah Go In”

When it comes to Summer, it’s always best to enjoy the outdoors, no matter how hot it gets. The season is filled with street parties, cookouts, beach trips, river visits, and a lot more. Dancehall Artist Skeng is outside, and like his new video, “Nah Go In“.

Directed by Iya Champs and shot in New York, Skeng is “fully outside” with it as he can be seen interacting with many individuals. With a cup in hand and a spliff not too far off, Skeng is feeling the outside vibes, and he has a word or few to say those who want him to out of the way. He’s all about the ladies, good vibes, a lil badness, and having fun. Rapper Rowdy Rebel makes a quick appearance in the video as well. “Nah Go In” was produced by John Coop Records, and Universvl who we have featured a number of times here. Staying inside is off limits for the season.

FRIENDS ONLY is an LA based creative company founded by Natalie Prospere, and is partners with Mass Appeal Records, the label behind releases from Run The Jewels, Dave East, and its co-founder, Nas. Recently, the company announced a new product called, “Friends Only, Jamaica“. “Friends Only, Jamaica” is on a mission to bridge the gap between local talent in Jamaica, and visiting artists and producers from the U.S. As a part of the mission, a “Friends Only, Jamaica” compilation has been made, with the first single, “Never Be The Same” featuring Kabaka Pyramid, Medisun, Hector “Roots” Lewis, Buddy, and EarthGang released a few days ago. Today, we get to see the official Music Video.

Directed by Nickii Kane and shot in Ocho Rios, we’re given a BTS look at how the track was put together. The video finds the Artists writing and recording their parts over the Dre Day production, and we see some unity and good vibes throughout. Producers Universvl ZincFence and J.L.L., Recording Artist Lucky Daye, and Reggae Artist Chronixx make appearances in the visual, and just by watching we know the recording sessions were a lot of fun. We look forward to the full “Friends Only, Jamaica” compilation when it hits the streets and streams in 2022.

If you’re on a Mobile Phone reading this, it’s likely you’re using an iPhone, or an Android device (if you’re still using a Blackberry, kudos to you!). Chinese Consumer Electronics/Mobile Tech giant Oppo recently launched a new campaign to promote their latest mobile device, the Oppo Reno 6 Series. The Italian branch of the brand kicked off their campaign with the help of German Rapper Kelvyn Colt through his latest single, “Emotions“.

Liam Callan is a Producer on “Emotions”, and features co-production by Jamaican Producer Universvl Zincfence along with fellow Jamaicans Jazzy T, and Melio Sounds. The song finds Kelvyn Colt sharing an experience with a lady that has gotten the best of him at times. The single has been doing well Internationally since its release on September 9, and with its Dancehall-tinged production, has found to be the right sound for Oppo’s campaign. Universvl Zincfence (formerly Dj Tyrece) is a GRAMMY nominated Producer/Mix & Recording Engineer, and the younger brother of future Reggae legend Chronixx. We featured him a couple years ago as he released a “Universal Joints” project, and he has been making his name known in many circles around the world.

The names belong to a young Jamaican Producer by the name of Tyrece McNaughton, and he has been cooking up some fire that will surely bring out the lyrics out of some Artists. Today, he presents his Riddim Project titled, “Universal Joints Vol. 1“. Inspired by Hip Hop Producers like Pete Rock, J. Dilla, 9th Wonder, and Jamaican Producers like Teflon Zincfence, BNJMN, and SOS Dynamikz, Tyrece brings listeners into his sonic and sample filled world through 15 tracks. Upcoming Producer Signature Takes You On “The Journey” With Debut Beat Tape!

There are Producers who can craft Riddims on the fly, there are Producers who can provide the Soundtrack to your thoughts and lyrics, and there are those who can tell a story. UK based Signature is an upcoming Producer who has a story to tell, and he does so on his debut Beat Tape! Titled “The Journey“, this 10 track project is a result of taking a hiatus from the online world to further develop his skills. Featuring various clips where he’s being Interviewed, he speaks on his aspirations, his inspirations, and the process behind the making of his Tape. The project also features collaborations with Producers SOS Dynamikz, Universal ZincFence, SkyRas, and Kvdence who all bring together their sounds to create that “Audio Dope“!
