Get To Know Producer @SOSDynamikz In Our Latest Short Film!

On the Blog, we highlight, promote, and celebrate some of the Caribbean’s best creative talent. We’ve helped many from “Day one“, and we’ve watched their growth over the years to becoming a household name and more. GRAMMY winning Producer SOS Dynamikz is one of those talents we’ve seen build his way up long before this Blog was even created. Today on his birthday (December 12), we highlight him in our new Short Film, “SOS Dynamikz“!

Shot at his home in Manchester (Jamaica), we caught SOS Dynamikz getting into his production zone while we give you tidbits of information on him. He even shared the creative process behind Koffee’s “Blazin” featuring Jane Macgizmo that was featured on Koffee’s GRAMMY winning “Rapture” EP. If you’re new to SOS Dynamikz, this is a great opportunity to know about him. If you’re a fan, we give you an inside look on the method to SOS’ madness (lol).

Tonight, we kick off episode 12 of our “13th Street Quarantine Sessions” series! Jamaican Producer Wavy Jones takes over with exclusive remix of Brazilian Musician Cassiano’s 1976 track, “Onda 12” called “All Night“. Having worked with the likes of upcoming Artists Yanah, Blvk H3ro, Biz, and many more, Wavy Jones brings a different sound to the Jamaican music scene, and is a Producer that you need to call up for your next hit. He’s currently promoting his new single, “Ketch Di Pree” with Blvk H3ro, Jeeby Lyricist, and Kione Zaire.

Jamaica’s music culture boasts with a great abundance of talent. No matter the field, Creatives cover every sector and have no problem showcasing their work. While showcasing talented folks is nothing new on 13th Street Promotions, today we’d like to highlight a Jamaican Producer who steadily hones his craft. Though he hails from Portmore, Jahbariii currently resides in the US and blends Jamaican influences in his sound along with Hip Hop. What caught our attention, was his knack for recreating popular beats and coming up with some unique productions from sometimes odd places. The names “DJ Tyrece” and “Universvl Zincfence” may not be names you’ll instantly recognize, but they will be popular pretty soon. The names belong to a young Jamaican Producer by the name of Tyrece McNaughton, and he has been cooking up some fire that will surely bring out the lyrics out of some Artists. Today, he presents his Riddim Project titled, “Universal Joints Vol. 1“. Inspired by Hip Hop Producers like Pete Rock, J. Dilla, 9th Wonder, and Jamaican Producers like Teflon Zincfence, BNJMN, and SOS Dynamikz, Tyrece brings listeners into his sonic and sample filled world through 15 tracks. Upcoming Producer Signature Takes You On “The Journey” With Debut Beat Tape!

There are Producers who can craft Riddims on the fly, there are Producers who can provide the Soundtrack to your thoughts and lyrics, and there are those who can tell a story. UK based Signature is an upcoming Producer who has a story to tell, and he does so on his debut Beat Tape! Titled “The Journey“, this 10 track project is a result of taking a hiatus from the online world to further develop his skills. Featuring various clips where he’s being Interviewed, he speaks on his aspirations, his inspirations, and the process behind the making of his Tape. The project also features collaborations with Producers SOS Dynamikz, Universal ZincFence, SkyRas, and Kvdence who all bring together their sounds to create that “Audio Dope“! Romell and Xandire however, contribute to the journey with Interludes and providing encouragement. If you’re an Artist looking for a new sound, give Signature a call (Whatsapp or Facetime perhaps?).
