It’s a new day, and we’re back with another episode in our “Learn Something” Series. This week we’ve once again teamed up with Davinci Studios who will provide more lessons for those who want to be more creative in the Adobe After Effects Program. Titled “Strato“, viewers will learn how to integrate VFX with their shots, and be able to add planetary elements to their clips for a more “Science Fiction” look. It’s time to boot up that Program, and get ready to learn something new! Watch the video below.
Black Kat Sound, Tony Matterhorn, Killamanjaro, King Jammys, Wha Dat Sound, Stone Love, Mighty Crown, Fire Links, Bass Odyssey, what do they have in common? They are some of the Selectors (DJs) and Sound Systems that have greatly contributed to the Sound Clash Culture in Jamaica over many decades. Amidst all the madness in the US this week, R&B/Pop Artist Chris Brown released a new single. Titled “Questions” (Get It Here), this was produced by A1 and Prince Chrishan and is a part of the Singer’s 40 track “Heartbreak On A Full Moon” Album which will be released later this year. For this track, Chris has drawn inspiration from the Caribbean in not only the Production, but in the lyrics. More notably, the song samples Soca Artist Kevin Lyttle’s 2003 smash hit, “Turn Me On” (Get It Here)! Hailing from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Kevin Lyttle garnered International stardom with the lead single off his self-titled Debut Album. The song, which was produced by RedOne and Nely on one version, and Adrian Bailey on another which featured Dancehall Artist Spragga Benz, was also a top 10 hit in 15 different countries, saw Gold and Platinum certifications worldwide, covered/remixed numerous times, and was even re-recorded in 2008 for his second Album featuring Soca Artist Alison Hinds.
There comes a time when we all have to leave this world, all that we’ve ever known is no longer with us, and we embark on the After life. While many are at peace with that, Comedian Kyng Tavii believes he’s not ready to go when the Grim Reaper comes in “The Grim Con“. Featuring fellow Comedian Kevin2WoKrayzee as the Grim Reaper, we see a hilarious skit where Tavii tries his best to escape the Reaper’s Scythe, and Kevin’s not having it. Will Tavii join him in the After life? Or will he see another day on Earth? You’d have to watch to find out! Shot by McDon Productions, check out the video below!
