Producer Kris Karz’s “Kngly Live” is back with another one! Recently he teamed up with Florida/St. Louis based Singer Ludy for a mashup video which included a live version of her single “Onlyest“, and a cover of Roberta Flack/Lauryn Hill’s (Whichever Artist you prefer) “Killing Me Softly“. Shot by Daniel “DB” Russo and $andy $cribble$, this performance at done at the Monosonic Studios. With Karz on the keys, Ludy lets the vocals flow on the classic R&B single, and her buzzing single that I’ve managed to catch live at an Open Mic event in Miramar, Florida that was hosted by Jamaican Rapper Tazz (More on that later). Montego Bay Rapper MoulaUE a.k.a. Moula Di Don is currently working on his brand new EP titled, “Bad Weather“. With no release date set yet, Moula starts his campaign off with a series of trailers. The first one features him in his element, smoking on the best herbs, and jotting down dope lines in notebooks. With the background Instrumental possibly giving us an idea of what will be demolished, Moula was never one to disappoint in his projects. The Jamaican Influence continues to flood media all across the World this year in various forms. Recently, Youtube launched their Youtube Music service along with a new Mobile App. To help promote the new ventures, they’ve released a series of Commercials featuring various real world themes with soundtracks provided by some popular Musicians. In their latest titled “Tina’s Theme“, Jamaica’s own Walshy Fire (Major Lazer) and Virginia based Reggae Band Machet provided the music with their “Naturally” single. The single was released in May and has been well received online since. It’s not just what we listen to, it’s who we are. Fast rising Singer Sabrina Diva is the voice of the modern Woman, spreading positivity, Independence, strength, feistiness, and fun through her lyrics. Her fresh new trends in music alongside her unique Reggae style have made her a force to be reckoned with. The snazzy new Singer/Songwriter is currently promoting her latest single “Mash Up My Head”. The song was produced by world renowned Producer Rorey Baker under his One Pop Music label. It was officially released earlier this year and is made available by distributing giants Zojak Worldwide.
The Music Video for “Mash Up My Head” recently premiered on Jamaican Television Programme Entertainment Report and is now available on YouTube and Vevo. “It is a fun playful song, and we encompassed all of that playful nature in the video, trust me you will enjoy this video.” expressed Sabrina. The feedback from the single has been tremendous thus far and has surpassed the rising Diva’s expectations. So far she has been getting regular airplay on Irie FM, Hitz 92, Suncity, BBC Radio, Irie Jam, 99 JAMZ, and Flames Radio. “I am ecstatic about this single, it has been exceptionally received and I know it only gets better from here.” she said
This is not the first time Sabrina Diva has enjoyed success, her single “War Down Town” was added to Sly & Robbie’s 2012 Grammy nominated album “Throw Back” which brought her a new set of listeners. Although a native of the UK, this bold, sassy singer has made Jamaica her home and has proved time and time again that she is here to stay. Jamaican Entertainment Programme “The Release” looks to garner a larger fan base in their upcoming 4th season. A Programme that highlights the latest Dancehall, Reggae, Pop, and Hip Hop releases from established and upcoming Artists, Interviews and news, was featured every Tuesday at 8:30 PM on Hype TV with repeats on Thursdays and Saturdays at 6:30PM. While they’ve kept the announcements to a minimum, they’ve released an official trailer that introduces new hosts as Talisa Taylor handled such duties in previous seasons along with various Artists and Media Personalities.
