It’s finally here! The Gully God Mavado finally released the music video for his collaborative effort with songstress Karian Sang. Titled “Take It“, we see Mavado phone singing to Karian from his mansion till they meet up at various areas and perform their single. Nice house, Karian looks really good too. Yesterday the Blu Rok members Vindon, Hard Dayz, and Cill Awesumore released a video for the single “Blu Rok Domination“. Directed by #EpicFilms, we see a young lady being kidnapped, tied up and being interrogated by the trio. They all recite their lyrics to her while she’s shown under a spotlight. DJ Absolute has been a heavy hitter on Jamaica’s Linkz 96 FM and today he released his highly anticipated mixtape. Titled “Tr888: The Tr888 Dancehall Mixtape“, this features some of the biggest Dancehall hits by some of the best in the business. “Tr888” is slang for “Straight” for all those out there wondering. OLDIES SUNDAY: @GrungGaadZilla x @ABarringtonLevy – Living Dangerously (1995)

In recognition of Bounty Killa’s recent award presented to him by the Jamaica Star for “Dancehall Achievement” and Barrington Levy’s release of his first album in 20 years, “Licensed To Thrill“, I’ve decided to post their most popular collaboration. Titled “Living Dangerously” and produced by JahScrew in 1995, both artists talk about  a woman who has done them wrong by committing infidelity and she lives a dangerous life. They also advise her on what will happen when they leave, and she must better herself before it goes real bad for her. This was a great combination of Bounty Killa’s commanding voice and hard lyrics, and Barrington Levy’s signature crooning.
