Here’s something you don’t hear everyday. For the kids Tommy Lee released his theme music, “Captain Sparta“. Produced by by Guzu Music, we hear Tommy deejaying cartoon references with the help of children chanting “Tommy Lee“. I have to admit I like it, this is something I never expected from the deejay and it reminds me of the theme music from popular cartoons. Canadian Producer SOUL has been making his rounds lately, today he features production for Canadian Rapper EeezDaPain. Titled “That’s Right…That’s Word“, we hear the rapper talking about wanting to achieve success in the music business and hoping they get it soon before his crewstravels another route. Another black and white video here with a few cut scenes. 40 oz Malt Liqour made a cameo but a cool song though. Radio should give them a few spins. Gatlin and Kkrytical are the two new artists featured on 13thStreetPromotions today with their respective songs done on the Work Hard Medley (Kkrytical – Working Hard x Gatlin – Prove Dem Wrong). Directed by Donald DelaHaye for DaKrome Productions and Damjd Designz, we see the two artists are given the black and white video treatment while deejaying their singles at an old railroad station. This is a big one, a clash of countries and genres of music. Major Lazer teamed up with Jamaica’s Aidonia, Japan’s Gachapan, Amsterdam’s Party Squad and Brooklyn’s Baauer to give a mix of House, Trap, Electronic, and Dancehall music. Titled “Smoker Shake Oh My! (Remix)“, this is a remix of the popular Baauer creation, “Harlem Shake“. Aidonia is heard chanting “Ganja Fi Bun!” along with other lyrics. Sounds like a fun track and should drive the crowd crazy at live shows. Set to be released on March 12 on iTunes, check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
