“I Can’t Pretend!” Says @RealIboFire

Reggae Crooner Ibo Fire is busy promoting his new single, “I Can’t Pretend”. The single, produced by 12to12Muzik is already making rounds on major local Radio Stations. The song was first premiered a month ago by GT Taylor on Irie FM with a live in Studio Interview with the Artist. DJ Wayne from the Irie FM has also taken a liking to the song and has been giving it tremendous love. “I Can’t Pretend” has since taken over Suncity Radio Station and has been in constant rotation. JamRock Sound System and Fame FM Radio have also showed Ibo Fire immense love for the single. Ibo Fire stated, “It’s a positive song, no one in the world likes when a person is a pretender so conscious music like this will always get full attention. I am just going to continue to put out more good music and I thank everyone for the support so far.”

Ibo Fire’s Management Team recently asserted they are considering a video for the single. “Right now the people dem a cry for a video so we just have to comply. So pretty soon, look out for the video for “I Can’t Pretend”.” Ibo Fire recently performed the song at Integration Thursdays at U.W.I, and other community events where the song has become an anthem.

Other Projects

The Reggae Artist recently shot the video for “Holding On”, a song taken from the EP, “Gateway”. Scenes from Trench Town Culture Yard and Majesty Gardens were used as a backdrop to this masterpiece. He is also working on a 12 track Mixtape coming out soon and is gearing up for some shows this summer.

@SingerFabian’s “Truth” Sparks Online Buzz!

Cashflow Recording Artiste Fabian has been receiving mixed reactions online for the single ‘Truth’ produced by Psy-en-tiz from New York. The single which quotes Fabian’s Alter Ego, “Alkaline a run Dancehall an we all know a di truth dis… how teacha fi run Dancehall being incarcerated…” has received over 600,000 views since its release on YouTube.

Several Bloggers, Selectors, and Dancers have posted clippings of the video on their Instagram pages inclusive of Dancehall Queens Sher and Latesha. Fabian said, “As a young Artiste it’s hard for me to get my respect so I have to demand it especially as a Singer. This song shows a more hardcore Dancehall side of me and I have been receiving a lot of good feedback”. The Artiste who has been with Cashflow Records for over 5 years has been pushing barriers when it comes to his music.

Fabian who is known for his collaboration with Digicel Rising Star Winner Tash in 2011 titled ‘It’s In The Books’, released another song called ‘Nah Give Up’ on the ‘Psalms 91 Riddim’ which was produced by Cashflow Records. Fabian said, “I have great songs but they were often times not supported, but my single the Truth is currently creating a buzz within the Entertainment Industry”. The Artiste believes that he needed to step outside of just being a ‘Singer’ to now creating lyrics that he describes as ‘head turning’.

Fabian’s music can be found on cashflowmusicstore.com, on iTunes, and also on Social Media through Facebook/Fabian Albert Allen; Instagram @singerfabiancashflow and Twitter @singerfabian.

@TheRoyalBlu vs @ToryLanez vs @Drake vs @PopcaanMusic: The “Controlla” Battle!

You couldn’t deny the “Controlla” single in 2016. From what started as a leak has become a single that blew up everywhere! Created by Drake (duh!), this was a single to boost the anticipation of his 4th album, “Views“. Of course when it comes to hit songs, there will be remixes, covers, and clones (lol Tyga). While we won’t get into the other story/controversy with “Controlla” (maybe next time, Mr. Vegas), we’ll recruit 4 very popular versions in a Battle Royale! Up for Battle are Drake (Original), Popcaan (Featured on leak/suggested to be a Remix although edited versions created waves), Royal Blu (Who garnered an underground following for his version), and Tory Lanez (Who has recently revealed his own Canadian/Jamaican Dancehall styled version). Voting for the tracks are below, let’s get ready to battle!
