Nothing like getting new music, and we’re glad to deliver it to you! Today’s new entry comes from UK Recording Artist Biz as she teams up with Jamaican Producer Wavy Jones for her new single, “No Fuss“. Here she gives listeners a lil bit of Hip Hop and R&B as she speaks on being a “Ride or die Chick“, not bringing drama, and being a one of a kind girl for someone who will treat her right. She lets us in on some of her experiences in a relationship, and lets that person know that if he doesn’t act right, she’ll move on. If she’s the one you need, you have to let her know. Jones’ sampled based production on this track fits the lyrics well and definitely adds to the replay value. Imagine a video for this track. If you’re a Hip Hop head, then you’re familiar with Chicago Rapper Lupe Fiasco. He has collaborated with the likes of Kanye West and Jay Z, and gave us hits like “Superstar“, “Kick, Push“, and “The Show Goes On“. Recently, he released his 7th studio album, “DROGAS WAVE” with enough bars to keep fans happy till the next project. What made this project more interesting, is Lupe tapping into some Jamaican influences here. On “Gold vs the Right Things to do“, he utilizes patois throughout, and although it may make some of us cringe, he drops some serious lines in this one to make up for it (he did a better job than these Actors in this article). On “Kingdom” he teams up with another potent lyricist, Damian “Junior Gong” Marley as they unleash more consciousness into the world. For those familiar with Lupe, this project is a great listen and has garnered positive reviews so far. If you’re new here and into lyrics, you can’t go wrong with Lupe.
