With many celebrating Tessanne’s success, how many of us knew her before The Voice? Onstage TV released her first interview to show you how she was before it all. Here she spoke about her debut album, her hit single “Hideaway” and it becoming a classic, her upbringing and her start in the music business, working the band Mile High and Jimmy Cliff, her career at the time, her future ambitions and more. Great interview, I remember when “Hideaway” was burning up the airwaves and it still is doing its rounds today. Again I wish her much more success. I hope she re-releases her debut album. As a teaser for the upcoming PayAttention show on Saturday November 30 at Club Indulge in Kingston, the acts slated to perform made a cypher session. Over Drake’s “Pound Cake” instrumental, Miguel James, Rseenal, Illicit King, and France Nooks all traded some of their many bars they have in their arsenal. Definitely worth many replays, they spit lyrics. Do support the event as we have many talented individuals that have been given the platform to show and prove. Love the skin you’re in! In today’s installment in the “NewMusicTuesday“, Dreggae teams up with singer Santrella Renee. Titled “Black Is Beauty” and produced by Rvssian, we hear Dreggae telling a story of a young lady who was told to alter her skin so that she can advance in life while Santrella sings that we should never be ashamed of being black and black is definitely beautiful.
