International DJ Steve Aoki’s creative process is on god level. With his “Kolony” project, he has been reaching out to other creatives who can help to chef up a masterpiece. Today, he joins DJ/Production Collective Bad Royale and Trini Recording Artist Jimmy October on “No Time“. In the video you can see Aoki whipping it like mad Chemist while Jimmy plays the role of Kronos (the Greek god of time), and Bad Royale all black cloaked out ready to perform a ritual. Emporio Armani, a subsidiary of Italian Fashion House Giorgio Armani, recently kicked off a Campaign to promote their “Together Stronger” duo of Fragrances. In both print and video formats, the scents “Because It’s You” for Women and “Stronger With You” for Men were presented. In their series of videos (both for TV and Youtube) which features Actress Matilda Lutz and Actor James Jagger, the soundtrack provided was EDM trio Major Lazer, Recording Artist Ellie Goulding, and Reggae Artist Tarrus Riley’s “Powerful“!

“Powerful” was released in 2015, and featured on Major Lazer’s “Peace Is The Mission” Album. The single has enjoyed Top 10 placements in Australia, Poland, The US and UK with Platinum and Gold certifications in New Zealand, Italy, and Australia. “Powerful” was also featured in a Hulu TV Commercial in January, and remixed by various Producers. The trio of Walshy Fire, Diplo and Jillionaire a.k.a. Major Lazer are on a mission to leave a mark this Summer with their recent EP, “Know No Better“. The project, featuring 6 songs, is a mix of Dancehall, EDM, Afrobeat, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, and Pop Music. Never a stranger to the Caribbean, they’ve managed to bring along Recording Artists Busy Signal, Konshens, Sean Paul, and Machel Montano. Busy Signal appears on the track, “Jump”, which promises to bring the same energy as his “Watch Out For This” hit with ML, while Sean Paul appears with J Balvin on “Buscando Huellas”, and Konshens & Machel Montano appear on “Front Of The Line”, which is the EP’s first single and is currently featured in Bacardi Rum’s latest Commercial (which can be seen below).

Enjoy Your Easter Weekend With @DemoXD’s “WullaVybz”!

One thing with Jamaicans, everything we touch turns to gold! While you all are enjoying the Easter Weekend (If you’re at work, I’m sorry 😦 ), I present to you a lil theme music courtesy of Producer/Recording Artist DXMVRC. Titled “WullaVybz“, the Production encourages you to just “Gwaan WullaYybz (Hol’ A Vibes/Get Lit/Have Fun)”. It’s amazing what can come from chilling on the beach (He revealed that he made this while dipping in Jamaican waters). For those new to DXMVRC, the former Glenmuirite has been producing for a couple years and has released a couple EPs along the way. He has also lent his voice as a part of a couple Choirs in Jamaica. You need to get in the car, and head to the beach with this blasting at full volume! A part of the AME Sound, hear the track below.
