Today’s new music comes from the currently incarcerated World Boss, Vybz Kartel. Titled “Right Wine” and produced by TJ Records, this is one of Kartel’s girl tunes where he encourages the ladies to keep dancing and keep him excited. Nice upbeat rhythm and it’s a summer song which should be very popular at upcoming parties. Ladies get your short shorts ready and dance for the World Boss. Mixtape Movements: @YGunnerz – The Official Stay Schemin’ Mixtape

In preparation of the Stay Schemin’ party that will be held this saturday in the West Cumberland area of Portmore, the Yung Gunnerz released a mixtape. Titled “Captain Sparta” and directed by Mental Chung (Dutty Bwoy series), we all know about his controversial song so we now have a visual. Very nice graphics however, a mix of 3D, comic book styles and cartoon characters it sure is interesting. He also has children involved as well. What a weird looking Jimmy Neutron. Vybz Kartel seems to be the hardest working deejay in Jamaica right now, jail can’t slow him down. Today a new music video is released. Titled “Ever Blessed” and directed by BDB Media Group, we hear Zip 103 FM’s ZJ Chrome introducing the single while a lovely lady dances in her room to it for the entire video. No Vybz Kartel stunt doubles, just a young lady who seems to be the one who owns the “Ever Blessed” property and is waiting for the World Boss to come home. NEW VIDEO: @NoiseyMusic Jamaica Dancehall Show: Episode 10: @GazaSlimWG

On today’s episode of Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show Gaza Slim is the featured artist. We see Codine Williams, Slim and crew situated at a courthouse in Kingston where Vybz Kartel attended a court date. Here Gaza Slim told Codine about her start in the music business, meeting Vybz Kartel, his incarceration, members of the Portmore Empire, her “Addi” tattoo, and other things. They also visited the West Bank community in Portmore and spoke to a few of Kartel’s fans and learned of the impact Kartel has on the community.
