Ciara’s “Body Party” has been a popular single in recent months and today Jamaica’s BNJMN released his remix to the hit song. Titled the “Body Party (BNJMN Greezy Remix)“, the MikeWillMadeIt instrumental is swapped with a BNJMN production and the vocals are chopped up at various points. This “Body Party” just got a little more intense, all we need is a video remix to go with it. A really great effort here and should be pleasing to anyone who listens to it. Today’s new music comes from a Jamaican One Man Band, Scotty + The DreamKillers. Titled “Keep It Rocking” and features a production from JLA, this features a great Michael Jackson sample (Rock With You) while Scotty raps about chasing his dreams, never slowing down on his work, pushing on despite challenges and keeping it rocking. A great effort here and being a Michael Jackson fan I love this production. For clarification, Scotty + The DreamKillers is really a One Man Band where “Scotty” is the rapper and “JLA” is the producer. Hip Hop in Jamaica continues to rise with the emergence of new artists who aim to hang with the best of them. Off his new EP “Been A Minute“, Rapper ChronDon released the visuals to his freestyle over Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever” single. Directed by Creezay YGF, Chron hangs out with his friends and drops some bars over the instrumental. ChronDon has been doing his thing for a while and is definitely one to look out for. “Strictly Jamaican when you see me spark“. Dancehall Music and Hip Hop have influenced many the world over but today Jamaican Hip Hop meets Italian Hip Hop thanks to Vaccadon, Jamil and TMO The Militant One with their new video. Titled “Zoo Bwoy“, we hear the artists talk about the lives they live (in their native tongues) and we see Vaccadon and TMO interact with others in a studio while Jamil holds it down with his crew elsewhere. While many may not be fluent in Italian, we can enjoy the visuals and the three rappers’ deliveries. Italy meets Jamaica. What do you think?
