NEW MUSIC: @Dizzy_TheillOne – Last Wish

Posted on October 6, 2014 by swadedavillain

As many philosophers would say, life is precious. Today, Rapper Dizzy The ill One released “Last Wish“. Produced by Dizzy himself, he tells listeners and friends to remember him in many ways when he passes away. If you care about someone or a few people, let them know they’re appreciated before they pass away. Great effort here by Dizzy and fitting for those who’ve recently lost a close friend or family member. Don’t cry, just bump and rewind this. NEW VIDEO: @RSNYMusic – She Just Wanna

It’s all about the “Irie Vibes” and the ladies today with RSNY as they’ve released the visuals for “She Just Wanna“. Directed by H. Styler, we see the RSNY members getting ready to chill with their ladies and get “Irie” while the ladies prepare for their visit. Not a bad effort here as the song over the Night Nurse Riddim gives you a mellow vibes and you’ll chuckle a little during their candid scenes and when they met the “Skriminals“. You can check out the single and more on their “Irie High” mixtape here. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @FiveSteez – Welcome

Posted on September 15, 2014 by swadedavillain

Tonight, Rapper Five Steez welcomes one and all to his home with his new video, “Welcome“. Directed by Nathan Cowan of Caribbean Films with assistance from Bubbla G, Rocket Media and The Talent Inc., this was shot in Half Way Tree and Trench Town. Here Steez drops lyrics about his hometown, the activities that take place daily and of course give a history lesson on some of the children who grew up from there to play an influential part in the development of Hip Hop and the popularity of Reggae Music. We also get cameo appearances from some who play a part in the growth of the “First Coast” Hip Hop Movement. Great video here and I like the take on the black and white video with coloured accents. Five Steez’s “These Kingston Times” will hit the Internet on October 14 but you can preorder now here. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

It’s only right that Elephant Man did this. With Bobby Shmurda’s track and dance spreading like wildfire, Elephant Man added a new song and now a music video for the “Shmoney Dance“. Directed by MainE Fetti, Elephant Man teamed up with Bobby Shmurda and his crew in Brooklyn as they danced and built a vibe in the neighbourhood. The “Energy God” is one of the few Dancehall acts that can create a new dance or add a song to a popular dance and turn it into a hit. I can picture Ele having the the audience in a frenzy when he performs this at his next show and even throw on a Ska song to further enhance it.
