@KingBNJMN Remixes @PopcaanMusic On “Poppy”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

What happens when the “Unruly Boss” meets Benji? Earlier this year, Popcaan released his “Tight P**** Wine” single but today Producer BNJMN flips it his way on “Poppy“. Here, Popcaan hits the purple stuff and changes tempo while BNJMN parks the Notnice Production aside as he adds his signature sound to the raunchy single. BNJMN has been pretty busy lately as his Production has graced various projects overseas, and we all know what Popcaan’s been up to as of late (lol). An Interesting take on the Dancehall track, and still an enjoyable listen. I’d recommend you play both versions one after the other. Keep an ear out for the “B*mbocl*** Benji” drops later this year but for now, check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@FiveSteez Shows Us The “Dirty Couch” In New Video!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Fresh off the release of his “HeatRockz” EP with Producer Mordecai Beats, Rapper Five Steez introduces his “Dirty Couch” to the world in his first visual off the project. Directed by Scotty DreamKiller with assistance from Dirx, Steez drops the bars you know in between crashing and pouring up some Dragon Stout on his couch. With the Yellow/Black colour being prevalent throughout the video, this gives the impression that Five Steez is paying homage to the Wu Tang Clan here. This video wouldn’t be the same if members of the First Coast didn’t show their face and had their share of Dragon Stout on the couch. HeatRockz is available now! Get familiar with the boom bap Rap by checking out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@MaticulusAuburn Wants To Know What She’s About In “Vertigo”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

“Are we a ting or am I one of the bros?” is a line from Recording Artist Maticulus Auburn’s newest single, “Vertigo“. Produced by Jon-Ross Kelly, Auburn is going through a situation with a young lady he’s dating where he shows her love, but he receives mixed signals from her. While he comes from a good place, she has had bad experiences in the love department and is coming from a place of hurt. The dating world can be a tough one at times as there are many damaged souls out there who are afraid to love again. Continue to show them love and help them to put it all behind them. Maticulus Auburn’s “Inner Thoughts EP“ is still available on the Blog. Is there a me and you? Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@TheKhxos Flips BlackStar’s “Respiration” On “Advertising The Truth”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

This Summer’s heat wasn’t enough for Recording Artist Khxos as he turned on every stove, fireplace, and broke the Thermostat on “Advertising The Truth“. Borrowing the Instrumental to American Hip Hop Duo BlackStar’s “Respiration“, Khxos fires off on how the truth is not respected nowadays, making dumb people famous, false promises, never letting anyone take his dreams, and dropping more knowledge in his music. Not even a Deep Freezer can keep this on chill right now. “So much on my mind that I can’t recline“. Expect more Khxos music very soon but for now, check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@TheSickestDrama Wants You To “Step Into The Light”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

The First Coast continues to make noise today as 1/4 of The Council, The Sickest Drama, aims to illuminate your 3rd eye with “Step Into The Light“. Produced by Damien Beatz, “TS, no BS, only sip V/X” is charged up as he’s on the path to show listeners that the mumble Rap needs to meet the trashcan. With an array of consciousness over the smooth Production, TSD shows that not only can he switch up the flow, but take the listeners far and wide with the lyrics! “Step Into The Light” is the first release off his upcoming project, and a possible teaser of what he’s to bring off the debut project from The Council. For some reason I’ve heard the opening bars of the hook a couple years ago (Was it from a freestyle TSD?). Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
