Mixtape Rave With @Shanny_14

Posted on by swadedavillain

Lifestyle Blogger ShannyDeLioness is back for another week of “Mixtape Rave“! This week she serves you an array of Mixtapes she’s been feeling over the past 7 days. If you missed the previous installments, check them out here.

1. Ruppinz Volume 2 Part 1 – ZJ Liquid

ZJ Liquid is one of the undisputed Kings of Radio! If you know the Popcaan song that shares its name with this mix, you definitely have an idea of what you are in for once you press play. He fittingly kicks this Dancehall mix off with a song that probably best describes his status as a “Big League” DJ.

2. Soca Brainwash 2016 – DJ Private Ryan

DJ Private Ryan is a household name for a reason. Soca Brainwash was the perfect last lap mix for the “Greatest Show” on earth. It was the soundtrack of choice for a recent road trip and has been a go to mix for the past week!

NEW MUSIC: @TazzHTG – On God Freestyle

Posted on by swadedavillain

Get your prayers up. As the “Savage” Mixtape’s release draws near, Rapper Tazz of the High Tunez Gang released a new freestyle. Over Rick Ross’ “Money & Power“, Tazz delivers “On God“. Here he lets listeners in on what’s to come on the project, and lets the competition know he’s not playing around as he owns the production with his unique flow and a chock full of lyrics. Tazz even put the beat on timeout so he could rhyme acapella. You may need to rewind this a few times to catch the lines. Get your Rosary beads out. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Recently, Rapper/Chef Action Bronson visited Jamaica for the very first time. Known to show his appreciation for the cuisine and culture in his music, Action made various appearances in some parts of the Island including the first NyamJam Food Festival. Here he tried various Jamaican and Jamaica inspired treats and spoke with some of the locals. An Artist who I’ve wanted to visit Jamaica for quite a while, it’s bad that I never got to meet him. Although it’s February, Rapper Five Steez kicks off his new year with a very random release. Titled “Signed And Sealed” and produced by The Patents, Steez wanted to make the listeners know where his head was at the time of recording and promises to never stop dropping bars. It was revealed that this was recorded for a collaboration, but got scrapped. Instead this will be a part of one of his future projects titled “The Story Of The Underdog“. His “Momentum 3” project is still on the way, so get ready. We’re still waiting on “The Council” project as well. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
