NEW MUSIC: @MasickaMusic – Cyah Frighten We (Demarco Diss)

With his name being mentioned during a war of words between Konshens and Demarco, Masicka did what any other artist would do and hit the recording booth. Aiming at Demarco is his effort titled “Cyah Frighten We“. Produced by Razzle Music, the Young General threw dart after dart at the “Puppy Tail” Deejay and makes it known that he’s not afraid of him. He also paid respect to other well respected lyricists in Dancehall. With Demarco and Konshens’ battle somewhat swept under a rug as of late, would a new one with Masicka be something to look forward to? PRESS RELEASE: @Kym_Music Is Here To Stay!

Kym Hamilton formally known as “Gaza Kym” says she is here to stay! The Dancehall artiste who is popular for singles such as ‘Teenage Pregnancy’ featuring the controversial Vybz Kartel and ‘Amen’ on the popular English Town Riddim shares that she is no longer hiding from dancehall music and she is ready to take what is rightfully hers. “Many deejays don’t support my music because of my disassociation with Vybz Kartel years ago but I am here to do music and I am here to stay” shared Kym.

 The ‘Nuh Behaviour’ artiste recently released her video for the single ‘Guns Out’ on the One Man Army Riddim, produced by New Elements Production and has been getting rotations on several radio stations. The single ‘Guns Out’ speaks about violence in the ghettos of Jamaica and urges the youth to do something productive with their lives. “I released Guns Out because of the stories I am hearing in the news about violence and I felt as though if change is to be made, it needs to start with us entertainers” shared Kym.

 Kym has toured in several Caribbean countries and has been getting great support abroad on international airwaves but when it comes to Jamaica, Kym argues that she is yet to see the full support. She added, “We have to stand for something as entertainers, especially us females; I do not want to sell my music through propaganda, I am here to let my talent speak”.

 The ‘Guns Out’ Singjay is also slated to release her new Dancehall single ‘Nuh Behaviour’ which she believes will create the buzz she needs in the industry. “Nuh Behaviour is a hardcore, bad gal song; it’s the other side of my music which I am eager to show” shared Kym.

 The video for ‘Nuh Behaviour’ will be shot and released in December, just in time for the New Year.

With Sting 2014 just around the corner, the main features are the wars of words with acts such as, Ryme Minista, Gage and Tommy Lee Sparta. After hearing taunts by Gage, Tommy Lee Sparta joined the Onstage to discuss that and more. Here he gave an update on his recent tours, dropping many music and videos this year alone, being absent from Reggae Sumfest, his status on his Court Cases in Jamaica and Dominica, gearing up for Sting 2014, dropped taunts for Gage and Alkaline, his recent encounter with Alkaline, and his thoughts on Bounty Killa and Foota Hype. PRESS RELEASE: @RymeMinista Confirmed For @ReggaeSting

The name Ryme Minista may be new to some, but is prominent in the streets throughout western Jamaica.

The reigning underground king has been belting out hits in the Dancehall and is well known for taking jabs at fellow entertainer, Alkaline, with ‘diss’ records making the rounds on the Internet. The St James-based artiste’s sudden surge has impressed the promoters of Magnum Sting 2014, which led to securing his services early.
Ryme Minista has sturdy support from his hometown, Glendevon, Montego Bay, and is gaining respect as a hardcore lyricist.

Internationally-recognised deejay Mavado recently collaborated with the fast-rising star on the track, Kill And Get Weh. The track has garnered significant attention and is breaking new ground throughout the Caribbean and beyond. This has triggered a spike in bookings, with his debut overseas performance confirmed for Costa Rica.

Ryme Minista said he is now focused on his most anticipated appearance to date, Magnum Sting 2014.
“Look forward to a great show. At the end of the day, it’s all about music and entertainment. That’s what I intend to do at Magnum Sting, just give the best of me.
“Big up to all my fans for the support,” he said. His songs, Mad Mad Move, Killaz and Killaz,Like A Ball, as well as Siddung And Brace, are rotating with major impact on his expanding fan base.
