Today’s music is aimed not only to entertain, but to inspire. Today K. Anthony (Kevin Fowler) drops “God Is Good”. Produced by Dwain “Wiya” Campbell of Barbwiya Productions, K. Anthony drops the message that no matter what’s going on in your life, God is good. He encourages listeners that despite the line being a cliche, they can use it add strength to their moments of weakness and despair. From a little town on a small island, “Rude Boys”, the brand new music video performed by Jamaican singer & songwriter, Toian, made its debut on international television station MTV Jams on August 10, 2014.

The video was filmed in various locations around Montego Bay, Jamaica and features a cast of bikers, police cars, school girls, bandannas, white sand beaches, coconut trees and of course “Rude Boys”.

“We wanted to capture an authentic perspective of everyday life in Jamaica,” said director & producer Sean Alaric of Class One Music. “That’s what brought the concept to life.” 

Inspired by her favorite reggae tracks from the 80’s era, Toian recorded the song at the Class One Music Studios in Florida, with backing live instruments adding to the sound of her signature flavor. Having previously collaborated with the likes of multi-platinum selling producer Don Corleon as well as popular reggae & dancehall acts such as Protoje, Konshens & Chevaughn, the multi-talented songstress is now gearing up to share her debut EP album, “Retrospect”, with the world in late 2014.

With a few years cemented in his musical career, Agent Sasco has managed to keep himself and his music consistent. With a potent flow and lyrics that command respect, he has touched on serious issues and has also managed to keep his audience moving. Tonight on Onstage he had a chat with Winford Williams to discuss his career and more. He spoke about his recent performances at Reggae Sumfest and Dream Weekend, exercising and developing his career, his work on Kanye West’s “Yeezus” album and how it came about, his new project and going back to the fundamentals of Dancehall, not following certain trends, remaining true to himself and more. He also premiered the music video for “Settle and Cease“. Sasco has been one of the artists whose career I’ve respected over the years and to me he can do no wrong. Comprising of 11 tracks, Biggs drops lyrics about hustling in Jamaica, girls of the MTV generation, a lil history course and of course being nice with his rapping and production skills. Featuring members of Sons Of Liberty and collaborations with The Defenders, this Art Project is sure to keep you well entertained. Big up all the schools shouted out in this project as well. SOL is that gang man! With King Biggs’ “XXII” dropping tonight, the members of Sons Of Liberty got together and created the “2014 Cypher“. Produced by The Defenders and J Chris Beats, each member came with their part to form  Voltron on this production that chants, “SOL is that gang man!“. Speaking on how dope they are to what they’re going through outside the booth, this entry requires keen ears. I feel a video will be out for this.
