Plotting on a come up the Sons Of Liberty finally dropped their long awaited mixtape. Titled “Escape Theory“, this is a 13 track set of hard hitting lyrics and production by the collective. Featuring production by King Biggs, Heatwave, RipTide, and haYze and verses from all members, this is a project that was 7 years in the making. Recorded at Phillip Myers’ studio, they were able to bring  us music from the soul, their form of expression without restriction or control. Mixtape Movements: @LornavBennett – This Is Lorna (Mixed By @IamYaadcore)

In celebration of Reggae singer (and Protoje’s mom) Lorna Bennett’s birthday, she released the “mixtape” version of her debut album. Titled “This Is Lorna” and mixed by Rory Yaadcore, this album included her single “Breakfast In Bed” which made her the first female artist to top the Jamaica singles chart for five consecutive weeks. For many who are familiar with her work can reminisce on her hits and new listeners can be educated (and see who Protoje got his talent from). Wonderful listen from a great artist. With no announcements or teasers, Blu Rok member Hard Dayz dropped the 2nd part of his “The Gyalist” Mixtape. Featuring 17 tracks including shout outs from some females and musical peers, Dayz brings the same energy from his previous effort. Featuring production from SOS Dynamikz and verses from Lady Livi, SOS, and Vindon, this is another good listen from the multifaceted artist. Mixtape Movements: @VybzBossZip103 – MMG (Rack City Remix) Promo Mix
