While Sting 2012 was just a few days, the air has cleared and many questions needed answers. One of the questions involves the short fight between former Portmore Empire artist Black Ryno and current artist Popcaan. Winford Williams sat Ryno on the Onstage set to talk about the Sting incident, premiering his new song/video “Courage“, the possibility of a clash in the near future, upcoming projects and others. Rapper Pusha T visited Jamaica recently and made links with deejay Popcaan for a song called “Blocka“. Today the video makes it’s way to the Internet. Directed by JayWill and shot in Kingston, the video showcases Pusha T giving you a look into the happenings on the streets all while showing you parts of Kingston many have never seen. Lots of gang members in the video, guns too, Pusha T walks through the streets like a king and Popcaan makes you know what to expect in the beginning. Sting 2012 Launch Party was held last week Wednesday at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel. While many scheduled artists attended and spoke on their upcoming performances, Dadrian Gordon of Linkz 96FM managed to snag veteran deejay Ninjaman for a short interview. Ninjaman spoke on the upcoming performance at Sting, assuring the he never gets “Bun” (Cheated on), and gave a sample of what’s to come.
