Today’s new video comes from the tag team of Keznamdi and Kabaka Pyramid. Titled “Darkness” and directed by Salvatore Fullmore, we see the artists situated in a remote location and given the black and white treatment as the theme for the title track. Great song by the artists and the video is very clean. Very thought provoking lyrics, don’t be left in the darkness. Keznamdi’s EP “Bridging The Gap” is available now on iTunes. Making badmind retire is Dre Island’s mission today in this new song. Titled “Conqueror” and produced by Jah Snowcone, we hear the artist showing respect to the foundation artists, highlighting that the ghetto youths want to be successful, criticizing politicians, and trying to prosper much more in life. Today’s new music comes from Da’Nandi and Kala. Titled “Touch Yuh Like Dat” and produced by Frassout Family on the “Party” Riddim, we hear Da’Nandi showing his interest in a young lady and wants to pleasure her in various ways while Kala accompanies him in background vocals.  A decent effort from the artists, hopefully this gets some radio rotation because the riddim is a good one as well. Here he spoke about his sister who called him out publicly with negative remarks, the negative energy he has received recently, his recent performances, Beenie Man showing him love and helping him out in his career, his issues with management, his album and future projects. Interesting Interview by the artist, he sure spoke his mind on his struggles before making it big, management and providing for his mom. Mixtape Movements: @LornavBennett – This Is Lorna (Mixed By @IamYaadcore)

In celebration of Reggae singer (and Protoje’s mom) Lorna Bennett’s birthday, she released the “mixtape” version of her debut album. Titled “This Is Lorna” and mixed by Rory Yaadcore, this album included her single “Breakfast In Bed” which made her the first female artist to top the Jamaica singles chart for five consecutive weeks. For many who are familiar with her work can reminisce on her hits and new listeners can be educated (and see who Protoje got his talent from). Wonderful listen from a great artist.
