Today’s Oldies Sunday selections come from two Lions of Reggae Music, Sizzla Kalonji and Jah Cure. Titled “King In This Jungle“, this was produced by Beres Hammond for his Harmony House Productions in 1998. In this song we hear the two artists speak out on those who wish to oppress people but stumble with the help of Jah. They also consider themselves Kings in a society that’s like a Jungle and encourage people to follow Jah and have more faith in the teachings.

Mixtape Movements: @Protoje – Music From My Heart (Presented by @IAmYaadCore)


In celebration of Protoje’s birthday, he teamed up with Yaadcore to release his “Music From My Heart” mixtape. Featuring 27 tracks which are a combination of music from his “8 Year Affair” along with exclusive tracks, this promises to be a great fix for the Protoje fan and a great start for the new listener. Features on this mixtape include Chronixx, Jah9, Kabaka Pyramid, and the legendary Sizzla. OLDIES SUNDAY: @SizzlaKalonji – Black Woman And Child (1996)


Today’s Oldies Sunday selection comes from a legendary Reggae Artist, Sizzla Kalonji. Titled “Black Woman And Child” which was produced by Bobby Digital and released in 1996, we hear Sizzla showing love and appreciation for the black woman, promoting consciousness, Africa as the mother of all mankind, and Queen Omega. “Black Woman And Child” is one of Sizzla’s most popular singles and is a part of 2nd album of the same name which was released in 1997.
