Mixtape Movements: @IamVindon – DemiGod

Mixtape Cover

Today’s new mixtape comes from Blu Rok rapper Vindon and who would’ve thought he’d be interested in Greek Mythology. Titled “DemiGod“, this is 12 tracks of some long awaited music from the Jamaican rapper. With subject lines ranging from motivation music to weed songs, girl song and crew raps, he aims to cover all bases with this release. Featuring production from SOS Dynamikz and features from Eon Smith, Hard Dayz, Dinho and others, Vindon made sure made enough material for ample listen. While you may not find references to Greek Gods and a few may notice he’s inspired by a few popular acts, I believe you should give him a try If you’ve never heard any of his previous efforts. OLDIES SUNDAY: Tony Rebel – Teach The Children (1994)

In recognition of May being Child’s Month I present to you a hit from a great Reggae act, Tony Rebel. Titled “Teach The Children” which was produced by Bobby Digital (Digital B) and released in 1994, this is message music encouraging good upbringing of children. He speaks on the action of adults being a influence to children along with the saying “If you want a good cow, you better grow a good calf“.  Watch what you say to children, they need guidance and good upbringing.

NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @EleDiEnergyGod

Elep

It’s the Energy God Elephant Man and tonight he made his way onto the Onstage TV set with Winford Williams. Here he spoke about going back into the party scene, his problems with taxes, his alleged rape charge, his “Harlem Shake” single, his future in Dancehall music, and rumors about stealing electricity, contracting AIDS and homosexuality.  Interesting Interview, Elephant Man was one of the artists to rock the Dancehall scene with his many energetic singles and I hope the recent events don’t kill his career for good. What do you think? Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @ChiChingChingJA – Fashionable King

ChingJa

Take a picture! Strike a pose! Today’s new video comes from Dancehall artist Chi Ching Ching. Titled “Fashionable King” and directed by DK Konsepp and Must Rich Films, we see Chi Ching Ching shopping, clubbing, chilling on the beach and recording in the studio all while being stalked by photographers and a very determined fan. A bit hilarious with the stalker being at every location Chi Ching Ching’s arrives at, and the lyrics to the song. Not a bad effort, I like how in some scenes the artist’s pose is turned into a magazine cover. Lol at the classroom scene. What do you think of “Fashionable King“? Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
