After taking the time out of her career to focus on family, Etana came back on the music with new material and joined Winford Williams on Onstage to have a chat. Here she spoke on working with VP Records, family life, parting with Fifth Element Records, working on her 4th album and her single “Trigger” and the story behind it. She also premiered the video for her collaboration with Jo Mersa Marley, “Thy Will Be Done“. Etana has always been a highly respected artist and I do look forward to more from her. Today’s new video comes from the combination of Etana and Jo Mersa Marley. Titled “Thy Will Be Done” we hear Etana and Jo Mersa dropping message music and speaking on the issues affecting Jamaica and its people. In the video Etana’s part is shot in different communities highlighting the youth and the adults that reside there and also scenes of her performing at an event while we see Jo Mersa delivering his part in the studio. A great combination here as the “Strong One” and the 2nd generation Marley deliver conscious music that will reach the ears of many. Great shots of the various communities and the people that reside there. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Dropping some hotness and energy today is the D-I-V-A Tifa! Titled “Body Up” and produced by Di Genius, we hear Tifa deejaying about how sexy she is, how she drives the men crazy, and other girls should just fall back and appreciate since they can’t be her. I love the energy off this one and Di Genius’ production compliments it well. Her body is “Up deh” and the volume for this track shall be “Up deh” as well. I hope I get the chance to interview her soon. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
