Trini Titans Jimmy October and Jay Nahge have been busy waving the flag for quite a while in their own lanes and showing listeners that the Hip Hop movement is alive in the Caribbean. Today, they tag team to give the world the “Something To Believe In” EP. The project features 7 tracks with Production from Kye De Vere, DLL Productionz, and MXD. With cosigns from Bunji Garlin, Jillionaire, Protoje, and Steve Aoki, the duo aim to further increase their buzz and show the world there’s more to Trinidad and Tobago than Soca Music as a genre. The “Soca Viking” Bunji Garlin and the “Gongzilla” Damian Marley finally present to you the visuals for their collaborative effort titled “The Message“! The video was directed by Gabriel Ti Nagee and Walt Lovelace and features a slew of cameos from the likes Popcaan, Majah Hype, Sizzla, Fay-Ann Lyons, Edley Shine and Notch of Born Jamericans, Crys Holder, and many more. A Ballet Troupe was also featured and comprised of young women spreading the message in the form of dance! In the video Bunji and Damian share their own Social Commentary and show that unity is strength from Port of Spain to Hellshire, to the rest of the world! @MrLevy411 Collabs With @Supreme_NYC X Jah Life!

New York based Streetwear Brand Supreme recently teamed up with Reggae Crooner Barrington Levy and Reggae Producer Hyman “Jah Life” Wright for a new line of Clothing for their Summer ’16 collection. Wright, who along with Henry “Junjo” Lawes, were the Producers who contributed to the rise of Barrington Levy’s career from the late 70’s to the 80’s. Together they’ve helped to create timeless albums such as “Bounty Hunter“, “Englishman“, and “Robin Hood” which spawned many hits for the young Levy. Supreme is no stranger to the Caribbean as they have worked with DJ/Director/Style Icon Va$htie who is of Trinidadian Heritage, and had a line that featured the late Jamaican Recording Artist Sugar Minott. The new line features a hooded Sweatshirt, 3 T-shirts and a Tank top highlighting the original artwork for Levy’s previously mentioned albums, and a shirt featuring H.I.M. Haile Selassie I. The collection will be available in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and online on June 16 while it hits Japan on June 18.
