Considered an odd collaboration, today’s new music comes from UK Producer Jamie XX, Dancehall artist Popcaan and Rapper Young Thug. Titled “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)“, this is a single that celebrates life and enjoying it to the fullest over some very wonderful production and samples that add to the theme. For those who aren’t familiar with Jamie XX, he’s the producer behind the late Gil Scott-Heron’s “I’ll Take Care You” which was sampled for Drake’s “Take Care” single. NEW VIDEO: @Protoje – Answer To Your Name

The single that prepped many for the release of “Ancient Future” finally got the visual treatment. “Answer To Your Name“, which was directed by Charlie Sarsfield and Jordan Bond, shows “Diggy” in the UK pursuing a young lady whom he met previously but has constantly ignored him since his arrival in Brixton. Lots of fashion picks in this video along with the infectious Ska influenced single. PRESS RELEASE: Spookie (@BrainTear_Music) Still Scoring Big With “Hurt It Up”

Dancehall recording artiste Spookie received his big break with the release of the hit single ‘Hurt it Up’. This single has certainly placed Spookie high up the ladder of the dancehall scene, landing him more dedicated fans and more opportunities.

Spookie shared, “The experience is great! To hear a large crowd of people sing my song word-for-word is breath taking”. He explained that the love he has been receiving for his single has extended far beyond the UK; “My overseas fans have been reaching out to me and giving me a lot of positive energy and I respect that, especially my fellow Jamaicans”. Spookie who presently resides in the UK has not just pleased UK patrons but has garnered the attention of producers in Jamaica as well. Through several major websites and his social media, Jamaican fans have seen Spookie excel at major shows like Pelpa Fest and Goodas since the start of this year.

He added “In addition to those shows I was on the Good Book UK Tour with Demarco and I have also been on shows with Gully Bop. I read all the comments from the websites and from my mediums and as such I will in Jamaica this summer promoting and reaching out to my loyal fans”. The ‘Hurt it Up’ artiste also shared that this is just the beginning adding that he has plans to become a household name in Dancehall music.

Spookie shared that he is more “focused” than ever and is now preparing for his highly anticipated appearance in Jamaica this upcoming summer.

NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @GullyBop1000

From Rags to Riches, Gully Bop can be heard and seen worldwide since his career has taken off. Unfortunately with fame comes controversy so tonight Bop joined the Onstage set to speak on his experiences. Here he spoke on his trip to the UK and his adventures there, receiving great fanfare, addressing the controversies, performing sold out shows in the Caribbean, his collaboration with Stylo G, being a target for scammers, working on new music, upcoming tours and a possible appearance at Reggae Sumfest. Gully Bop also performed a few songs for the audience. Bop is always an entertaining character when it comes to Interviews. We look forward to the “Baby Bop” and of course his upcoming performances. PRESS RELEASE: @GullyBop1000’s UK Invasion

Arguably the most talked about artiste in dancehall, Gully Bop has taken over new territory. The entertainer continues his invasion of the United Kingdom with his fourth sold-out show, held in Birmingham over the weekend. He is relishing in a publicity blitz, surfacing from radio and TV interviews connected with his first promotional tour. To top it off, he has recorded a contagious track with one of England’s leading dancehall artiste, Stylo G.

“Right now me feel good, how me come a England and them just embrace me. Big big BBC radio a play Gully Bop non-stop and invite me in them studio. Me a get support at every show, every one of them pack! People swarm me like bees fe take picture everywhere me go. Is a thousand things and more a go on right now, so me have to give God thanks,” Gully Bop explained.

“Who She Want” is the title of the hit-bound release recorded with Stylo G. The song is entertaining, upbeat and pokes fun at both artistes. The producers are Star Traxx and Adde. Immediately upon release the brand-new song has seized high rotation on British radio.

Gully Bop will wrap the U.K. leg of this tour on Sunday, March 29th. His closing performance will be at the Electric Brixton. Bop will then proceed to his debut performances in Grenada, Guyana, The Cayman Islands, Barbados and other Caribbean countries.
