Today’s new video comes from rising Deejay, Lejah. Titled “Ghetto Youth” and directed by Andrew Trabass (Trabass TV), we hear Lejah dropping lyrics about the hardships faced when you’re underprivileged and encouraging ghetto youths to be determined. We also see a couple kids doing what they can to get by from taking up garbage to washing cars. Not a bad effort from Lejah, for many Trabass viewers you may have heard this song at the end of his videos. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

While on Fridays many can promote “Follow Friday” on Twitter, how many of us can identify their real friends? Chino is one who can with his new single. Titled “Big Up Mi Fren Dem” and produced by his brother Di Genius on the “Mad World Riddim“, Chino name drops some of his close friends and points out the many types of fake friends and their actions. Ladies it’s time to turn up the vibes. QQ and Major Lazer decided they should take “One Drop” and mix it up with some EDM to make it a bigger hit. With QQ dropping his lyrics and shouting out Major Lazer, the instrumental urges ladies to turn up the levels on their “One Drop” moves. Very energetic track and I believe many ravers would love it. In today’s fast paced society, many of us never take the time to enjoy things that life has to offer. Today’s music comes from Reggae artist Kelissa and she brings forth a positive message. Titled “Slow Down” and produced by Chimney Records on the Rising Sun Riddim, she encourages all of us to slow down, enjoy the people around you, enjoy the world, and love more before it’s too late. Pay Attention, the premiere Hip Hop event, was held on Saturday October 5, 2013 at Club Indulge (Upstairs South Beach Cafe). Featuring performances by Slo Mo, BPM, Mario Evon and The Sickest Drama (TSD), it was another moment that highlighted the Jamaican Hip Hop movement going strong. It’s a collab between the Gentleman and Mr. Lova Lova! Shaggy and Neyo bring to you their video for the single “You Girl“. The video revolves around a couple travelling, enjoying each other’s company, and topping off the night dancing at Shaggy and Neyo’s concert. The artists can also be seen rehearsing in parts of the video for their concert and making smooth moves with the ladies.
