Dropping off another video from their “Peace Is The Mission” album are the likes of Major Lazer. Titled “Too Original“, which is directed by Tim Erem and features Jovi Rockwell and Elliphant, we see lots of dancing, food being prepared, drinking and a good time all housed in a small restaurant. Nice mashup of Ska and Dancehall with the Major Lazer sound! Great to see Jovi Rockwell in the video too and of course Walshy Fire’s Clarks! OLDIES SUNDAY – @FutureFambo – Kung Fu (1994)


Today’s Oldies Sunday selection requires you to only dance, not practice your chops and kicks. The selection comes from Dancehall Artist Future Troubles a.k.a. Future Fambo. Titled “Kung Fu” and produced by Roof International in 1994, we hear Future instructing listeners to do the Kung Fu Dance and aim to make it a staple at parties. In a time when new dances were being created, this was a hot single for the artist and created a buzz for him in the streets.
