Featuring some pretty trippy production, Yanah sends a message from the future to the lover she has yet to meet. Though short at 1:29, you’ll find love every time you replay this! In a world where “Love” as a word has lost some meaning, and as an action done for all the wrong reasons, one may be curious to know how they can love like the old couples back in the day. Enter Rhiya Luna who yearns for that kind of love in her latest single, “Ancient Love“. Produced by Slaybad Musiq and Nuh Response Production, Rhiya dreams of having that old school love where proper etiquette and mannerisms were displayed, dates that weren’t interrupted by modern devices and situations, and long walks in the night filled with great conversations. She also mentioned running away to elope, but that still happens (lol). If you’re feeling just like her, give this song a listen. If you’re a listener of West Coast Hip Hop, you were aware of the release of “Victory Lap” this week. The highly anticipated Album by LA Rapper/Entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle saw the light after 7 years of waiting. Featuring 16 tracks, fans can tune in and hear the lyrics from one of West Coast Hip Hop’s most respected figures. While the Album has features, one familiar voice may have caught many off guard, and it was the voice of Dancehall Artist Konshens! Appearing on track 9, “Succa Proof“, Konz assisted Nipsey with some badman lyrics and showed listeners the 876/213 link up! The track was produced by DJ Khalil, Mike & Keys, and Rance, the track has already been shown to be a favourite so far on Social Media. Aside from features, Konshens has been working on new music, including dropping more songs with a message. “Victory Lap” is now available on all Digital Music Streaming services. Mobay Rapper Chance (a.k.a. Kans) continues his run of dropping new music this year. His “Indelible Colours” project wasn’t enough, so he teamed up frequent collaborator Daley on “For The Low“. Produced by Mxdnight, the duo speak on being deceived. While they do admit their own past mistakes, they were thrown off when a friend was involved in their love triangles. Guess this is a game of “Bun fi bun“, but the Artists do express their feelings on this one. Not nice being put down for the low.
