The names “DJ Tyrece” and “Universvl Zincfence” may not be names you’ll instantly recognize, but they will be popular pretty soon. The names belong to a young Jamaican Producer by the name of Tyrece McNaughton, and he has been cooking up some fire that will surely bring out the lyrics out of some Artists. Today, he presents his Riddim Project titled, “Universal Joints Vol. 1“. Inspired by Hip Hop Producers like Pete Rock, J. Dilla, 9th Wonder, and Jamaican Producers like Teflon Zincfence, BNJMN, and SOS Dynamikz, Tyrece brings listeners into his sonic and sample filled world through 15 tracks. Gully Bop Gets Sampled On New @JulsOnIt & @BurnaBoy Single, “Gwarn”!

When was the last time you heard a Gully Bop tune? He was on top of the Dancehall scene for a while, but somewhat faded out. With some saying he’s working on his comeback, today’s new entry may just be a start. Recently his “Wuk Affa Mi/Body Specialist” single was sampled by Ghanaian DJ/Producer Juls for the Nigerian Dancehall Artist Burna Boy assisted, “Gwarn“! A song for the ladies, Juls and Burna want them to know that they have the “good good loving” that they need! With Bop’s catchy lyrics that turned him into a viral sensation added, the single also gives the men a warning that if you don’t treat her right, another man will. The Hip Hop culture continues to influence the youth in Jamaica, and it opens up a different side to their creativity. Kyraxx is one of those who the culture has influenced, and has been showcasing it through various channel. His latest single, “With You, was produced by IOTOSH, and released through their Sound Ting Label. On the track, Kyraxx goes on the melodic vibe as he talks about getting it in and wanting to make things happen with this young Lady. With a Production that you can’t help but rock to, Kyraxx easily tackles it as he speaks on his situation.

Introducing to the Blog is a NY based Artist by the name of Alex Mali. She has been around for a while releasing some dope tunes, and she proudly reps her West Indian background (Jamaica & Trinidad). For those familiar with the Joey BadA$$ & PRO ERA, you may have heard her on a track or two. With some fire on the way, she gives listeners a taste with a Freestyle titled “Livin“. Produced by KDVG, she describes her tune as an “expression of Parental disapproval” as she points out a few clashes with her Mother. We love our Moms, but there are times where we’re just not gonna see eye to eye with ordeals and expectations. If you know Caribbean Mothers, you know there weren’t just regular arguments. Dropping a lil Reggaeton for you all today courtesy of Ozuna! Recently, the star from Puerto Rico teamed up with Recording Artists Zion Y Lennox for the tune, “Egoista” (“Selfish” in English), today we give you the visual! Directed by Nuno Gomes, we get somewhat a Music Video in a Music Video as the Artists are on a set complete with Video Production equipment, props, and of course some eye candy. Throughout the video, Ozuna sings about being a selfish lover and is trying to redeem himself with the help of his supporting cast. A very clean visual here, but it somewhat helps with the theme of the song. Ozuna has been enjoying success in the Latin America market, and his debut Album “Odisea” has been doing pretty well. Recently he was seen in the studio with Recording Artist Cardi B, and Jamaican Producer Rvssian, who know what they’ll be cooking up. Discover something new, check out the video below.
