
Today’s Oldies Sunday selection pays tribute to one of the legends of Reggae Music, the late Dennis Emmanuel Brown. DJ Mucho, along with Earthquake Intl. Sound and Prodigy Movements present “The Promised Land (Tribute To Dennis Emmanuel Brown)“. This mix highlights some of the hits that the “Crown Prince of Reggae” created and even clips from some of his interviews over his rather lengthy career. From a child singer to an influence to future artists, Dennis Brown was always a top act with his commanding delivery and lyrics. Titled “Gyals From Brooklyn” and features Da Professor, this is an electrifying track that encourages listeners to get their bodies moving to the beats, breaking speakers, disturbing quiet neighbourhoods, and having fun to this blend of genres. this sounds like a summer hit and great artwork by Flyland Designs as well.
