PRESS RELEASE: @MrLexx63 Dominates @ReggaeSting 2015

Boxing Day 2015, saw Dancehall Icon Mr. Lexx dominating the stage of the biggest show in Dancehall, Sting. The Recording Artist ended 2015 on a high note with this impressive, high energy and truly unforgettable performance. Mr. Lexx performed alongside longtime friend and Recording Artiste, General B, and both captured their audience with exceptional delivery.

Mr. Lexx impressed the crowd with hits after hits after hits as they cheered him on. Mr. Lexx stated, “The Sting performance was really good. We (General B and I) didn’t do what we rehearsed on stage as the vibes of the crowd called for a change but never the less we killed it.”

This performance comes only a few days after his four week appearance on the Boom Badda Dan Road Show ended, which saw the artiste performing in different Parishes across the island. Mr. Lexx is now laying the foundation for what he hopes will be a fruitful 2016. For the new year, Mr. Lexx plans on recording for a few local and International producers and he will be releasing his much anticipated album.

The “Cook” Artiste will also be focusing on his own Jiggy House Production label to cement his name in the business as a noted producer as well. He will be working on the “Wet Rag Riddim” featuring Beenie Man, Bling Dawg, Vershon, Devina Burn and many more.

Mr. Lexx has other exciting news about his career and urges his fans to look out for many more things to come from him“Mr. Lexx always have new things up his sleeves as I will be claiming 2016.”

OLDIES SUNDAY: @ReggaeSting 1991

With yesterday’s staging of Sting 2015 receiving not so stellar reviews from some attendees, I thought for the final “Oldies Sunday” of 2015 I’d feature one of the earlier shows. In Sting 1991, there were performances from the likes of Frankie Paul (who wasn’t able to attend last night’s event due to ailments), Tony Rebel, Shine Head, Culture, Freddie McGregor, and of course a clash between Ninja Man and SuperCat. If you’re one of the disappointed members, maybe this earlier staging can brush away some bad vibes. Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: LA Lewis x Adele – Hello (Remix)

2015 wouldn’t have ended without a lighthearted moment from the one and only, LA Lewis. After premiering the single recently (and receiving some backlash), he finally premiered his visual to his “collaboration” with UK Recording Artist, Adele. In the remix to “Hello“, LA speaks to Adele and lets her know what he’s been going through. Not much to say here but given that LA claims his UK links are “official”, this could be something to jump start your day. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
