Today we introduce to you another new series on the Blog. Teaming up with Zip 103 FM’s ZJ West we bring to you the “ZJ West YFF Remix” series! Also called “ZJWestYFFRMX” or “ZJ West Youngest Freshest Friday Remix“, our aim is to highlight the creativity of the ZJ that has been making noise over the years whether on the “Z” or in the streets! Our first entry is the “2 Phones (ZJWestYFFRemix)” featuring Vybz Kartel and US Rapper Kevin Gates. With a blend of Kartel’s “Hello Moto” and Kevin Gates’ “2 Phones”, listeners will enjoy the throwback Kartel (referred to as “Black Kartel“) and the energy off the platinum selling Rap single. We aim to deliver a new remix every Friday on the Blog, so stay tuned! The “Young Gorgon” Vindon has been on a low for a while but recently returned to give listeners that Blu Rok sound. Today he fires off with “Too Legit“! Produced by frequent collaborator SOS Dynamikz, the “Fly yute from di Tropics” lets off the bars “fi buss dem head“! Known to tackle beats with ease, Vindon even borrowed Veteran Dancehall Artist Tiger’s flow and paid homage to the “Don Gorgon“, Ninja Man in the end. Ever since he released his debut project, “The Initiative“, Slim has been a bit off-line but kept busy cooking up the masterpieces for listeners to consume.
